As someone just starting in leather craft I envy your craftsmanship.
As a Brit living under a nanny state where carrying anything bigger than 3inches will get you arrested (including ALL lock knives) I envy you the knife too! 😀
I still own a big ass Bowie I bought 30 + years ago and a couple of others I also carried on my webbing (5th generation British Military) but they all stay quietly at home these days.
Even though I daily carry a pocket knife that could conceivably get me in trouble (I live on the canals and like most Bargees keep a sharp blade to hand...twice I have come to the aid of someone who didn't!) When not on my boat I envy America the freedoms you still have that we have lost!
Hang onto your freedoms. They are easily lost and hard to win back!

I spent days looking for this video I remembered seeing it when I was looking for something else and couldn't remember who's video it was, not disappointed at all very well done. I've been looking for ideas for a whole scouting type system, I think I'm going to use inspection from this type sheath for my Mora knife along with a Baldrick for my Tomahawk with a Haversack. This is a beautiful piece of work and very inspiring to get into leather work. my only (small/technical) concern is the rivets you put in to hold the flap of the bag on the front, I didn't see any type of material placed over them to protect the knife from the metal? did I miss something or are they recessed enough that they will not scratch that knife or is that not a concern with that type of knife? I'm a newb when it comes to this sort of thing really, so I do not know, and apologize, but wanted to ask.

I have another question for you as well ok and I hope I make sense hahaha well I order a leather right handed sheath from eBay for my tracker knife and I gave him the demension's of my knife. When I got the sheath I absolutely loved it but it didn't fit correctly on my knife( sheath to small) and the steel snap close horizontal belt straps came lose easily (I think they glued the straps) when I tried to put on my belt. I was wondering if I could send you the sheath& knife so you can remeasure the knife to the sheath and redo the sheath your style. Can you engrave anything or just some stuff?
