Just returned after visiting Hakuba area and Nagano for a week. Still in travelling mood, happen to see this Video Clip which is far better than many ordinary ones. Thank for sharing your experience ! from Sydney Australia
Love this! I'm planning on visiting Hakuba as well! As for Kurobe Gorge, it was in my itinerary before but I removed it since I don't have enought time left to explore the area 😅 Will definitely come back for the Gorge!
@@nawawitta very well noted, I saw in japan guide's article that the whole railway is not operational (only midway is) due to the January earthquake. So I'll just come back some other year :) then ill target 1st week of November for peak foliage
I like your video! I am currently planning a trip to hakuba to visit happo pond on first week of November before the closure of gondola, may I know what is the temperature different between the village and the pond? Also what is the camera you are using, looks clear.
As far as we remember, it was around 20°C in the village and 13-14°C at the pond. It was a sunny day when we were there, but very windy on the mountain and at the pond. We recommend dressing in layers since it can get quite sweaty while hiking to the pond. Bringing a windbreaker jacket is also a good idea 🙂 We used an iPhone 13 Pro, recording at 4K 🙂
The fall colours in Hakuba and Kurobe Gorge were incredible. What’s the most beautiful place you’ve visited during fall?

Hope you get the chance to visit someday 🙂. And remember to grab a seat on the right-hand side of the train when heading towards the Gorge 😉
