Is it just me or does the writing for this review feel like when you're writing an essay for school and are struggling to meet the minimum word requirement?

Are you surprised? Reviewers just try to finish the game as fast as possible and get their review up before anyone else. Endgame never gets brought up for any of these games and it's really funny considering Endgame usually IS the game.
The guy who made the video didn't even say once u beat the game u can go back to all the previous levels on a much higher difficulty to get much better loot
They made it simple because they have younger players playing it. It's a introduction for minecraft players into a drop down dungeon crawler. It has its charm and I believe it will just get better with the sequels.
After min-maxing the game at character level 72 and item level 107, I can say that this is not a 7/10. I would place this game at LEAST at an 8/10 to a 10/10 depending on who you are talking to. This game places itself up there among the legendary Castle Crashers in many ways. The game may only last 6-8 hours (per run), but that's the point of the dungeon crawler. The gameplay is so damned satisfying, that after the first run, you'll find yourself crawling back for more. There are three tiers of adventures that have their own respective sliders for a total of 18 difficulties with great room for satisfying gearing progression. The enchanting system is awesome, and being able to get your enchantments back is a godsend. Multiplayer with my friends has been a blast, and it's been super entertaining trying to explore every nook and cranny for every secret and hidden levels. So far the game has seen massive sales, and word of mouth is going to really make this game a hit. I'm praying the devs keep up on development and content, as I can't seem to put the game down.

There are so many opportunities for improvement, like brewing and crafting. There are potion you can get from mobs but they are very limited in range and duration. Maybe they could implement recourse gathering into their levels so you can go back to camp and brew some cool potions. For crafting, same thing. This is where the pickaxe would come in, you can use it in specific levels to get specific items for crafting low-tier loot that can be upgraded using some sort of workbench provided by the camp once unlocked. That’s just off the top of my head! There is so much more potential in this game, at this point I’m just waiting for the devs to realize it.

get it on gamepass boiz. This game has like 6 levels. After that, you're basically done unless you wanna run the entire game again on a higher difficulty. This game is basically early access. Future levels will be unlocked later on.
So, with that in mind...maybe it's not worth reviewing? If they are lacking in the reviews for this game (6 to 8 hours of play time to beat it..) and it's a simple but cute Diablo clone with no actual building or crafting like Minecraft. What more is there to say?
Azmadi The game is fun. While it’s a diablo-esque style, it’s got a surprisingly charming game that I enjoy playing with the amount of variety they give. Unless you’ve played the game, I wouldn’t badmouth this lol

Would have to agree on the 7. Fun but not very long. Less than an hour ago I downloaded it and already half way through it. You can have others play but dont need to. Enemies die quickly even with weak weapons. Only challenge I had so far was the cauldron boss. Could use some different types of classes to spice it up.
I haven't seen any real bad reviews but mostly reviews I have seen are around at 7 with the highest being an 8. I have been playing since release and i cant put it down. I just feel like its better than some give it credit for
Plat II I’m a dad of 2, and had a really busy today but I played the game on my switch in short bursts and finished it like 20 minutes ago. About 3 hours gameplay in total.
I hope the 7 doesn't drive away people from Minecraft Dungeons. It's honestly such a fun game and can get tense when fighting the likes of the Enderman. Go play!
The reviews at IGN feel lackluster, not consistent with other videos of the same topic. Gotta say, the quality is going down harder than a white girl at a fraternity party.
Helpful before you buy tip: there is no matchmaking into online lobbies. You can only play online with a friend on your platform (cross play at a later date). However couch co op is there and I’m glad they included it. Now I can play a dungeon crawler with my 8 year old niece who loves Zelda and other adventure games.

I don t understand what is happening to IGN, they really don't care anymore about games, about their company, development,.... they just do those reviews without even playing the game, they just do a review only to be done and nothing more. @@SaltyCracker1208 over all depending on your speed and in depthness you'll beat it in 8-9 hours but there's definitely replayability and im pretty sure you can replay the levels with harder combat multipliers etc just like diablo
While it plays some things safe. I mean, you can scale you difficulty on the fly as you play. I've done that a few times, and I've heard the game does it too. I feel like people are spoiled by games that are meant to wow you at every corner.
They should another game mode or something because once you beat the story there is really nothing else to do but just beat it again in a harder difficulty
There's the secret missions but you have to beat it more and do certain things to get those. Most of the content comes in grinding to get new gear, which honestly there is so much in the game that replaying it is fine with me. Especially since there's new things, new gear, and new powers on adventure and apocalypse modes that you can't get on default.
I agree that its a massive downfall having no crafting or mining in a minecraft title. Very strange they didn't try to reinvent the ARPG genre a bit with a formula that obviously worked wonders for the original title

This review was written in a manner that targets the younger class of people. His word choice, sentence structure, pronunciation. Sounds like a child himself at times. Defiantly not a high quality video as usual.
To be honest I wasn't expecting much with this game, being a minecraft game and meant for everyone, but I was pretty disappointed in how basic the game was. The mechanics where ok, but still pretty dull, even if it was meant to be a smaller game, it felt like I got into the game and in the next few minutes it was over. Not to mention how most levels were kill enemy, do objective, then done with loot. Though I did like the replayability and how fun the game was overall. It just gets boring after awhile. Solid 6/10

The game is just over two weeks old. Im trying to lean toward the fact its not too complicated based on future DLC plans. At the store when u buy the game, the hero version states it comes with 2 future DLC updates. Let's hope the game will be adding crafting and more, way MORE depth! 🤪🤔
