Absolutely correct! They suck. Suddenly they don't insure the Trades and refer you to Sticky after you spent all the time filling in your info. Tivly is a disaster.
NEXT insurance customer service is absolutely ridiculous. I got a price hike in my account and when I called was told “The AI determined that you build houses and so your policy changed. There is no way to change it”. I don’t build houses, never have.
I'm going with next only because I get 2m coverage for 25$ month. It covers bodily injury in or around, Food borne illness and 1 other thing I can't think of but fact remains I only needed those 2 things to be able to start selling food where I'm at.
Next is a ripoff, they quoted me $2300 annually for 1M insurance for carpentry. I now have state farm for 800k coverage for $700 A YEAR! 😂 what a joke!
I’m a young guy trying to start a disaster rehabilitation construction company servicing insurance claims for other large contractors what insurance companies would you recommend. I would also like to stay with a insurance company through the long run as I scale up my company to not rely on contractors.
Hi Gordon, thsnks for the informative video...ive started a appliance repair company here in Jacksonville FL, will you be able to help me??? I dont have the time to answer 190 phone calls from different insurance companies
Good question. That's going to depend on your location and where you work. Off the top of my head I'm not sure there's any insurer "best" for what you do. I'd recommend contacting a local insurance broker who does commercial insurance and work with them to find the best optons.
Next Insurance is a total rip off. You will learn that the hard way if and when your ever file a claim. There are so many exclusions that are impossible to decipher. Additionally you will find out, as I did, that there is a $5000 limit to what they will pay for the work that you performed. They will also tell you that the work you performed is not delineated in the scope of work. Three Insurance is the way to go. Straightforward policy language without all the legalese. Agents that are prompt and professional in their customer service as opposed to Next agents who treat you like you are a bother. Yes, Next insurance can provide you with a quick and easy certificate of insurance but it is essentially worthless if you file a claim.
Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with Next, it's a shame and gives the entire insurance industry a black eye. Three doesn't operate in NY so I'm not familiar with them, but they are a direct to consumer seller which can be problematic - You don't have an advocate or expert in your corner to help when things go sideways. Best of luck!
That all insurance companies. I use the Hartford in Georgia and has an employee drive a bucket truck into a building over hand cost right under $30k I have umbrella, GL, WC and it covers absolutely everything and my understanding was umbrella covers everything else that isn’t covered under the other policies. Being said they won’t cover it I pay almost 2k a month for 2 years and they are about to lose me as a customer.
I am looking for property insurance on the contents of a storage unit for my reselling business and I was directed to Next Insurance. Do you know of any insurance company that would be better for this?
Hey Kevin - Generally, the property insurance would be combined with your general liability coverage to form a package policy. Not sure who the best insurer would be for this since "resellers" are a difficult classification for insurers. Check in with a local independent agent in your area.and see what they recommend. Hope that helps.
Garrett I’ve been doing this for 49 years, this policy is wrong with exclusions and no way would you pay $60 a month for a good policy for an excavator? I also find that the cheaper the company price the more likely they’re going to fight you want to claim or just deny a claim this is your business and your future you need to protect yourself
Hey - Good question. Food Trucks are not a target market for us so I'm not sure who to recommend in terms of insurers but check out Rogue Risk, an insurance broker, I think they may do them. Good luck!
NEXT sucks! They are definitely NOT cheap. They quoted me $3200 for a General Liability insurance for a small painting business with less than 2 employees. And they had a bunch of restrictions that I would 100% not be able to meet because subs don't carry $1M in insurance.
Bonding is different from insurance but it's sold by insurance brokers and is a financial guarantee backed by a surety or insurance company. Hope that answers your question.

I've been using next. 1owner LLC with no employees. 1 million in general liability and it's $29.50/ month.
that's a great price!
@@TheCoyleGroupNY how can i get that price i dont have employees and its only two owners.
How can i get that price its only me and my partner ?
I pay 130 for the exact same
@@Dasani1234567 that's odd. Is your scope of work inherently risky?

Hi Jacob - this is going to depend a lot on where you're located as the contractor insurance marketplace is driven by location. Let me know.

Hi! Which is the best insurance for artists who paint, please? t

My insurance was only $28 for a million coverage great rate
Good for you!

Based on my experience, don’t trust this company. They have a surprise for you.
I have a Grading and land clearing business in tampa, Fl. They quoted me 60$ a month. Do you think it is legit? Who should i go with?

@@Tantasqua68 Thanks, i was expecting that.
I agree with Tantasua. Hard to tell who you should go with, without knowing all the details but I’d ask your competitors
I have Next for years it works perfectly for my small business, I just need to know if I can add additonal coverage to what I have now
good to hear. Not sure what you mean by additional coverage? You should probably reach out to Next on that one.

is this the same thing as bonded

What would you recommend for a photography and filmmaking business?
Absolutely not I’ve been having the worst time with this insurance company, rude aggressive, very unpleasant
This insurance company has been a disaster. I’ve had a claim with them for 60 days. Customer service was extremely rude and aggressive.
Thanks for your comment. I'm sorry you've had to experience this.
