I don’t usually listen to country music but this song is an American song. Love really is trying to walk in someone else’s shoes or like the lyrics say “through someone else’s eyes”. I’ve failed at times but it’s a new day to try it again. I love this song (even if The Beatles didn’t write it)! 😌Thx Tyler
I’m listening to this song quite a bit! Can’t help but to think about a song Jesse Colin Young wrote long long ago. “you hold the key to love & fear in your trembelin’ hand, one key unlocks them both, it’s there at your command, come on people now, smile on your brother, everybody get together try to love one another right now, right now, right now”!! I was probably 19 when that came out, I’m 72 now. Are we ever going to get it right? Come on people does it have to be all black or all white; come together, let’s love one another right now💕
I think I just became a Tim McGraw fan and I've not been into country music before. Art and music can reach people in the most positive of ways. To me, patriotism isn't only about waving a flag and being self-righteous about who is more patriotic than the other. It's about a deep love of your neighbors and community. Love starts in the home, then the community, your country and the world.

There is always one country song that encapsulates the moment America is living: I remember how Tom Petty's "I won't back down" song became our anthem after the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. It gave us so much strength in such a horrible time.
