Pastor Ed is the man! In 2017 I saw him playing basketball at my high school a couple times and would say hello. Fast forward 5 years later I’m waiting tables at a steakhouse and he comes in. I decide to go say hi to him and he immediately says “hey man! You still playing ball?” The fact that he even remembered me is insane to me, given how many people he interacts with on a weekly basis. Ed cares deeply about God’s people, and he is intentional about spreading the love of Jesus to the San Antonio community. Michael is an inspiration to ALWAYS be obedient when the Lord gives you an assignment. I hope Anthony’s story helps provide hope to those who may be going through something similar and are feeling hopeless.
Everyone watching this should check out this Church, it’s not just about Pastor Ed, but all the staff and the people of the church, it’s a different kind of feeling here. COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH!
BRO I’ve been following you for 6 months now and you’re interviewing my pastor?!?! That’s amazing! Had a deep heartfelt conversation with Ed, our fathers passed away on the same week. He meet my family. Had a great conversation. Blessed to call him my pastor.
I know I don’t know you and I hope you don’t take this the wrong way. I just wanted to let you know it’s “heartfelt”. I swear I’m not being a jerk. I just know I would want someone to tell me if I spelt something incorrectly. I hope you’re not offended 😅. You got a great pastor. Sorry to hear about your dad. I pray you continue to feel the comfort of the Lord in those moments when the grief comes rushing in. The Lord be with you always, brother
@@LovesChild316 well you have Mari Mar there so I’m a little jealous of ya! But yes the Holy Spirit is strong at the church. I encourage Christians to come visit this church at least once and experience it for yourself
He’s one location has 17/18 THOUSAND people on a single weekend. That man is not a pastor. He can’t possibly shepherd that many people. At least those tithes are getting him some sick kicks though 🥴
@@DanielRevolt he can and does. They do not ask for money or pass around a collection plate at CBC. He does not get up there and talk about giving the church money that I have ever heard.
So glad you brought on Ed, he has been such a important person to my faith growing up and I can’t think of many other people more deserving of being highlighted for there integrity in there walk than him.

My husband had been coming to CBC for years, and now it's my church too. Pastor Ed is a down to earth, God-fearing man, and we love our church. Instead of asking for money, I've seen them pass out buckets of money for whoever needs it! I love God, Pastor Ed, and I am thankful to my husband for bringing me here.
Its what everyone wants, just to be seen, heard and most of all LOVED! Whether we are homeless, sick or succeeding! Its all about the LOVE of Christ!💖🙏🏻✝️
the fact that CBC is right down the street (highway) from my house and I know EXACTLY the area they're talking about is CRAZY. I've heard nothing but good things about CBC and Pastor Ed. Much love from a fellow San Antonionian

I’m so glad you were able to connect up with these guys. Praying for Anthony that he perseveres in detox and meets Jesus and His wonderful grace. I’m so thankful to these guys for their following the Holy Spirit’s prompting. The proclamation of truth in preaching is one thing but to see it in action is such a great reinforcement to the congregation.
Loved watching this!! This is the True Gospel that Yeshua talked about…I wish this church was close by, I would go. I lift up to Yahweh right now, Anthony, Michael, and pastor Ed, that this story will continue on for HIS GLORY🙏 Thanks Ruslan for bringing them on to share more about the incident and thank YOU for following what Yeshua called you to do with these podcasts. I love CBC!!! Pastor Ed is One of my favorite pastors that I watch online!!! This story really gave me a heart check to be more like Jesus in every aspect & how to listen to the holy spirit and be a blessing to others in even very simple ways. I am so glad to see how pastor Ed lead with compassion & humility. This is the gospel 🙌🏽! ✝️👏🏽🫶🏽🙌🏽 God bless Michael for being a literal life saver 🛟 for brother tony!!! 🙏🏽
In my opinion, this is your best interview so far. So much humility from these 2 men. Lots of lessons and blessings from this story . You can clearly see God at hand here. The whole time I was listening to this I had goosebumps from how God works.
Won’t HE do it! The Way Maker and Chain breaker. I pray for Anthony that the chains are completely broken in his life. Praise Jesus for CBC because they lead with love and grace. So good!!
Just went to CBC for the first time this weekend and GOD!!!! Perhaps the most welcoming, anointed and healing space Ive been in a minute! Pastor Ed is such an inspiration! Praying I get to be half of the man of God he is!
This was a rock thrown into God's pond - the ripples are still emanating out! Last weekend at the 10:00 service a lady came because of the video and gave her life to the Lord! (Only one of the stories!) 🎉
We definitely need to see more stories like this being highlighted on social media! This whole situation was handled so well and with such grace. How refreshing! THIS should be the norm, not the exception.
This Pastor handled that whole thing perfectly. I shed a few tears in that clip. That was divine. The message was already lined up. I love it! Praise God!

This is so powerful! Love in action. When service is at the core of your life. May the Lord continue to use Michael wherever he goes. Looking forward to Anthony’s testimony.
This is awesome. I love CBC and Paster Ed. The Holy Spirit is always felt when I attend this church. Glory be to God. Thank you for sharing this video.
Great interview. I’ve been a member at CBC for some time now. Those interactions never get old. I love seeing God’s love work in so many people!! Glory to God!

I love this story! I pastor a church in Baltimore City and lead Adult and Teen Challenge in Baltimore. We would be willing to give Anthony a full scholarship to come through our one year residential program. We would love the opportunity to love him back to life!
I had to do a double take when I saw Pastor Ed on here! That’s our Pastor! I love that you all teamed up to talk about this. I was at the 2:00 service right after all of this happened with the 12:00 service. Ed was telling us about it. I went home after our service and watched the 12:00 service. It was so touching! God high jacked that service and delivered a very impactful message! The following weekend I went to the 12:00 service. ED gave us an update on Anthony. At that time he had left the hospital and was back on the street. Ed basically told us if we saw him around to tell him he had a place to come back to and when he was ready, help was available for him. He updated us again recently that Anthony finally agreed to get the help. CBC is truly helping so many people in their walks with Christ! It is such a blessing, week after week, watching people come to know Christ personally! That’s what it’s all about! Thank you for having Ed and Michael on to share about this amazing story! God bless!

I loved this video, as well as the video of the interruption during the church service. I loved how the pastor allowed the spirit to take over and was so gracious with the interruption. I have attended plenty of "mega churches" that would not have been so gracious. Love It! Good Stuff Bro!
I'm convinced the homeless lady in the story was an angel.
@micahbucy6855 me too!!! I almost put that in another comment that I'm glad Michael followed the angel
