Morning of studying from home | Living alone in Helsinki

- Hi friends! This past week was my first week of studying for the coding bootcamp. I vlogged one morning to show you my morning routine and to share some thoughts on this new chapter and adjusting to working from home again.
I will be on holiday next week and might not have time to post a video next Sunday. I will post on the community tab if that's the case.

Thanks as always Emmi you are a beacon of sanity and composure in an increasingly mad world. Your country made a momentous decision today alongside Sweden. We are glad you are going to ge with us but desperately sad that it was necessary. As a species we have not learned our lessons from our past. My father fought in El Alamein I doubt he could ever imagined that his daughter would be reaching out to a lady from Finland all these decades later. God bless and peace to all.
I'm no longer able to work (no worries, I'm doing great!), so I really admire young people who are learning and moving on to brighter pastures! My younger daughter is your age, she's a veterinarian. She and my older daughter never cease to amaze me with their knowledge! I'm rather jealous of the Paris Holiday, it's some place I'd love to see. Safe travels, and have a wonderful time!

Looks foggy like my city, Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, Canada. Usually we have fog in June but it’s early this year in May!

So enjoyed. Lots of admiration for this change and all that goes with it‼️🎉🎉. But I believe we should keep learning till God calls us home. I’m 64 and looking to learning/ and doing a whole bunch of things~recipes, keeping up on Nursing/Medicine and return to my love of counted cross stitching. Loved the purple carnation and baby’s breath. My fav combo

I've changed my job recently too and I'm still adjusting to the new place, new people, new culture. My position is still the same, but it's been a massive change for me. I'm still not sure if this new pace is good for me, but I'm trying to find as many positives as possible on every single day. I hope you'll find your new challenge being good for you! Good luck! 🌸

Love to hear you are going to Paris🥰such a beautiful city, it only takes me about two hours by train to go there as I live on the border of France, southwest Germany. This Friday I will be traveling to Brighton, my first time since 2019! And I am so excited! Paris is on my bucket list. Have you been there before? My fiddle leaf fig is making new leaves like crazy. Glad to see your rubber plant is doing well. I picked up some of the new red peonies at Flower Boys this week. They are a very rich, deep red. You seem to be enjoying your studies. Best of luck.

I’ve kept from doing too much on the balcony before the trip so I don’t have to worry about watering when I’m away. But I will get it ready for summer after the holiday and film some clips of it! 🥰

I'm doing an online YTT that's all self study. I haven't done any type of studying/learning since graduating from community college over 20 yrs ago. I feel a little lost and also being older and dealing with menopausal brain it's a challenge. I picked a topic that would be an easy transition into studying for myself which I think is helping.

Hey Emmi thanks for the vlog- Plan to visit India too . 2) If you can write a JAVA programe for me .I want my excel based formula into it :) . 3) Live single sucks but your vlog gives new hope and new way to see life . 4)If possible try to vlog something like how we can get citizenship of helsinki ,people ,cultre in your eyes . 5) I saw few vlogs of helsinki -why people dont reveal there faces there in vlogs? Thank you! I don’t really know anything about getting a citizenship in Finland as I was born here, I’m sure there are many other sources for that kind of information online, and much better and more reliable than what I could offer in a simple video. 😊

What do you think about Finland joining NATO? Do you think it’s fear that Russia could invade your country being on the border?

Why what’s the problem to ask?
It's NOT healthy to go an entire day without speaking to another human being........unfortunately many people do...especially the elderly.
