I am not a paid youtuber, but i will honestly say that the game is fun. The story so far (to where ive gotten up til now) is really good.
Yeah, it's unfortunate. I'm happy I got to play the beta. It was fun for a couple hours... and then all enjoyment fell off sharply in terms of singleplayer, after experiencing all the flaws. Now that we've seen all the macrotransactions for sale, I'm definitely not expecting this game to evolve beyond the normal bug fixes.
Man... am... I... bummed. Was hoping Ubisoft have had more respect for their fans. [sniff sniff]
He already made a video saying how boring and repetitive the game was. That it didn't feel like a tactical game and it didn't feel like a Ghost Recon game. But now it's suddenly good...wierd
Hell I'd buy the game if they actually went all in on the survival mechanics instead of the lite crap they have now.

@@Mondochiwan I do agree with that. I keep having to skip raid shadow legends ads on a lot of videos i watch. I looked up the game, and that one definitely is a pay to win game. Breakpoint, so far, is not. The only thing you have to buy is cosmetics... unfortunate that most of the cosmetics in question are the ones that you actually want to use... but cosmetics nonetheless.

Let alone the fact that the game is repetitive and suuuuuper fucking easy. I don't quite understand what Drew's perspective is but absolutely NONE of this game is interesting, the story is much worse than the first one, and the gameplay just is not interesting as a whole
@@Epicburst His perspective is that of a guy who received a handsome sum from Ubisoft and had to find something positive to keep the hand that feeds him happy.
I'm not saying that he is lying, I'm saying that he might have gone into this with a different mindset and attitude than if he wasn't sponsored. While it's not impossible he genuinely liked the game, the only people I've heard from who liked it were all paid by Ubisoft. Everyone else disliked it intensely.

Mousie that’s because it seems like it was just put together rather quickly it jumps around way to much as I’m played the story it seems like it merged me off course to do side missions then I end up doing something not even related to the story

They did make some sort of effort for realism, they had a long-tabber on the dev team. And of course immersion in 3rd person experiences is possible. Saying otherwise would be like insisting movies have to be shot only from 1st person to be realistic and immersive.

The word is used more casually with forms of entertainment as a whole....including movies. What TF do you think the point of 3D movies are? To be immersive. Of course movies can be “immersive.” The whole point of the way the first scenes of Saving Private Ryan were shot to was make you feel like you were on the f****** beach. And that’s not even a 3D movie. Take Avatar..did they shoot it and present it in a format to make you feel like you were IN the environment? That’s immersion. The same, obviously, holds true for video games with RPG elements.
Love this game despite all the negative press. Play at advanced without the orange enemy clouds on the minimap and it is a lot more fun.

Why did Ubisoft make another looter shooter before fixing The Division 2. I’m not giving them my money. This game is The Division for people who like Ghost Recon and this game is Ghost Recon for people who like The Division. No one wins.

Different people have different things they like in games,
So ubi did put something in the game from the division Assassin's Creed etc. They are trying to sell this game to more people, but this is removing any soul from it by doing so.
This game is obviuosly not exactly like the division it takes something from everything.

[Major] Ohh all this freedom what are we ever gonna do? I honestly dont use the store for anything. Its a choice on how you play the game. I dont like the cave, I dont like the store, but with exception of whatever you need to do in the cave neither affect my gameplay. I use only weapons and gear dropped by enemies and chests so far. I hardly even use the garage because its more fun running out getting vehicles on your own.
[Minor] Doesnt affect anything really. It reminds me of the system in Dying Light.

@@luisdelgado7918 Its definitely not bad, but its not great either. Its about a 6/10. On PC I have had no performance issues, and no glitches. All the glitches I have seen are from Console people, or people who are running it on a 750ti or something.
Im confused as to why people are mad about the micro transactions, when its a single player game. Why should I be mad other people get to ruin the game for themselves when it has no effect on me? Not to mention the other ones are cosmetic.
BF3 and BF4 also let players buy whole weapon classes so you dont have to spend time unlocking them. CSGO introduced tons of children to gambling and loot boxes, but that game is still fine.
@@kevindellatore cause if Ubisoft sees a ton of people purchasing microtransactions, then they'll just say "hmmm, We see everyone buying these except for people like Kevin, how can we force all the Kevins to buy these? oh I know, let's make it take 5000 hours to grind out one item OR pay 5 bucks" and if that didn't work, they'll just make it more grindy and boring till it gets to the point where you are literally better off just buying the thing you are working towards versus earning it.....
Now imagine that happening across all games released where you can't advance until you unlock something or defeat someone that is physically impossible without doing the grind.
@@kevindellatore Right, those items in the shop are just dumb cosmetics. Weapons, attachments, etc, can be found through the map by PLAYING the game. It's not pay to win. I wonder how many of this fellas have actually played the game?

Don't buy that man. I loved Wildlands, but this game was created only for microtansaction. Is pretty boring game for me. I played for 8 hours right now and gets more repetitive hour after hour.

Ubisoft is terrible with this kind of stuff. I had a Ubisoft game just deactivate once, and I was never able to get it back. I had to purchase an entirely new copy.

I'm not Drew (obviously), but in my honest opinion, it will be worth getting. It just came out, so there may still be some kinks being worked out, but within the next few months the game will be getting updates as the devs have said they will implement. When it comes to gameplay, it fixed a lot of issues wildlands had. Moving while interrogating is one of them. Moving bodies is another. Also... there is no Karen to tell you what to do. I dont know if there is a civi casualty cap yet (haven't tried), but enemies are satisfying to take down. Pick a knife and engage in CQB. The animations are awesome.

Drewski, do you really think this can be called a GR game? It seems more like a mish mash of different genres to try and attract a wider player base. Then you have tons of bugs and crap AI. And the fact that they prioritized monetization over the game itself. It feels like another Ubisoft cash grab like far cry ND.

nope. too expensive for what you'll get. Yes you might enjoy the first 5 hours of bugs and shit actual gameplay but after you get bored, it will slowly start to sink in that you used $60 on this walking bank of a game
