- Metal Detecting UK on a new field... took a bit of time to warm up but then produced some really cool finds... and a lot of hope for Future visits!!! Roman coins, Crotal bells etc. all found with the XP Deus Metal Detector!

I'm in Wales and it hasn't snowed since Saturday but what did fall is showing no sign of thawing! I wouldn't have been able to get out anyway so thats something at least! Hope all well!

Hello Alexander. Well another fantastic video with splendid finds Alex. Wow I'm excited so many great fields you have to detect in. Hope you find a Roman hoard, I was only thinking about that the other day watching "Time Team Classics" with Sir Tony or Baldrick form Black Adder 😂. Nice Roman coins. Your new permission might be very fruitful. It's good to have pasture to detect on in the Winter months. My Celtic coin has been moved to a specialist sale in January.

Hi Alexander the reason you some times find so many buttons in certain fields is probably because it was harvested by people picking potatoes, beans, carrots and the like the buttons just fell off their clothing while they laboured also the thimbles were used so to protect there fingers from wear and damage...simple really.
Good knowledge Paul, and clothes of all types were also used as "shoddy" which may help to explain the button problem too! It can also be argues that thimbles are often found as the girls were busy often on the sides of the fields sewing the bloody buttons back on again!! 😂 Hope all wel!

I am so used to tiny wispy signals - that come through well with these airbus btw... i bought a pair of "XP" ear buds from Regtons; Absolutely bloody useless but they were very cheap... for some reason the sound is very clear with the apple ones an so i dont fiddle with audio response it will only confuse me! The larger one is Magnentius... he was the first to use that symbol on the back, tha Chi- Rho (X and P)... Hope al well Tucker!
Hi Alex, you get a nice new permission. As you showed the big roman and before you said what you thought it'd be I told "Maximian", so is it maximian? I never found a roman coin with the chrism...
No its Magnentius! Still I thought it began with an "M"! He came along a bit later as I am sure you know... and I think he was the first to use that christian symbol of the P and X ... Cho-ri? Or something like that I will have to look it up! All the Best, Alexander
