Masoor Dal Bhorta Recipe Debjanir Rannaghar | মুসুর ডাল ভর্তা

Bhorta aka Bhate is one of the comforting preparation equally popular in India and Bangladesh. However, Masoor Dal Bhorta is a famous Bangladeshi delicacy. I had it (and various types of Bhorta) during my trip to Bangladesh and now this is a regular item I cook at home. In this video, My mother is showing the process of making Mosurir Daler Bhorta.

Will it be better if we mix fried onions and roasted chilli to the Dal with a masher or in a mixer?

You can use a masher however, I wouldn't recommend a mixer considering it wouldn't give the right texture.
