congrats a reviewer back in 2017 overshadowed the communities thoughts on this game all because he couldn't understand the game, how it works, and called it "free until paywall" which you literally aren't encouraged to buy death metals for the purpose of progression. if anything death metals are only for the 2 things you have described, storage and revives (as a last resort, or for confidence) maybe that 1 dislike could turn this video into 69 likes jokes aside I love this review and kind of searching youtube for more like these.

I mostly play it like a podcast game. Keeps me busy while I listen to podcasts, audio books, etc,. Grinding for money and upgrading equipment has become something like building ships in bottles.

Interesting game, So, multiplayer is actually playing with bots or if a player enters ur lobby? I wonder if there is some sort of chatting.
Unfortunately you cannot communicate with other players in the game. The only multiplayer involves PvE against other peoples fighters.

too be honest this game got easier over the years for new players before you couldnt get next tier characters until you beat the mid boss of the next section of the game and also the crafting material was harder to get there wasnt enemy crafting drops or special daily task

yea I got trapped on a floor 39 treasure room, enemies drop on you 1 by 1. There was 8 enemies by the time I kept dying.

Is this pvp or pve? I'm still confused about the whole game.. came here after seeing Deathverse :)
Fighting enemies is completely PVE. Other players can send their fighters to invade you in the tower but have no control over them. Tokyo Death Metro involves attacking players’ safe houses to steal their resources when they’re not there. You never have to directly fight another player but you do have to fight AI controlled fighters owned by real players if you plan to raid. Hope this makes a bit more sense :) Also I believe Deathverse will be entirely PVP and more like a battle royale than a rogue like.

That’s around the point when the grinding gets real so be prepared to sink some time into the game if you intend to beat the final boss.
great review my guy ! I had a chance to play the game on ps4 on release was pretty fun and man did I enjoy the grind
you also have a great voice. I also enjoy the bloodborne (never played the souls series) because in a way it is the same as Let It Die, get as far as you can in your one run die to a boss or overpowered enemy, restart from your spawn location and get stronger any means necessary weather it be playing smarter and dodging or upgrading your weapons and new armors.
