I love this game. I had big challenges when there was excess attrition of my nobles, geniuses and paramours. Very similar in this aspect to I, Napoleon - I flamed out in my first plays of that game when most of my Marshals decided to fall on battlefields in the first couple of years of the Empire. I need to play each a few more times, but initially feel that El Rey Planeta does a little better in keeping the player active and involved in making real choices that open a path to victory.
@@mssmbe There’s some decision-making. You get actions in groups of three at random points during a turn, and there’s a bunch of different actions to choose from. I would say it’s a step up from I, Napoleon and a step below Mr. President. It’s like 40% decisions, 60% narrative.
