This was J.None's final recording before leaving to join the navy. So a very approprite message. Incidentally I am also a Michael Jackson fan. I understand exactly what you're saying. No one is perfect, and we need to give people the benefit of doubt. And I have serious doubts about what has been said, but not about his genius. And I think that you can more or less guarantee that if Geoff Castellucci arranges a cover he will more than do it justice. He is another genius.
I’m also a huge Michael Jackson fan I was lucky enough in the late 80’s to attend the Jackson Brothers final tour. Michael of course stole the show, it was phenomenal. This group sang this well the lead singer sounded like he was trying to imitate Michael’s voice. I also love Prince and attended his purple rain tour that was also a phenomenal concert! I don’t believe in cancel cloture. Your an amazing man Michael! ♥️
This was one of the two last videos with J None (the baritone in the middle) who left for the Navy, so the last shot of him was really emotional for us fans. This arrangement was so beautiful. I’m so happy you’re getting back into VoicePlay. Everything they’ve released just this year alone has been truly top-notch. I think you should react to “Bang” next, the first one they did with Deejay Young. It really was a turning point for them musically I think.
J None took the majority of the lead... he's the one who joined the Navy, so this was one of the last songs he did with VP. This same day, they did You're My Best Friend.
Awesome reaction and loved your comments about our music icons. MJ was a genius when it came to his music, nothing & no one can take that away. And if they do, then they do not truly love music. If we were all perfect people this world would be quite boring.
This has probably been requested before a few times, but I would definitely suggest any of Geoff's solo work. My least favorite song of his would have to be either High and Dry or Blackbird, they both really show how talented he is, but are not for me. On the other hand, Sadle Up, The Bare Necessities, House of the Rising Sun or Misty Mountains are all great. He really dosent have a "bad" song, but I just prefer some over others. Thanks!
VoicePlay is quality all of the way. Delighted to see you giving them a fair chance. As for legacy, it depends on what they did, what the evidence is, and who is getting paid for their legacy work. Art is art. But I can decide I don't choose to support certain artists. It doesn't mean that their art isn't great - it means I won't do anything that helps them generate revenue or power.
I do not judge a person until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. Everyone has flaws, so why judge someone else. Michael Jackson should be remembered for his contribution to music, not unproven wrongs💜💜💜💜
No matter what MJ may or may not have done there is no way to dismiss his talent. He was a musical genius - no doubt about that at all. Glad you are back. ❤️
VP did a very nice job with this cover. You should check out some of Geoff Castellucci’s solo work. The man can sang. His low notes are something special. I don’t think anyone should be cancelled. Who is the THEY that decides who or what is cancelled? If there is someone with whom you disagree or dislike then you can individually cancel that person by not supporting them, not listening to their music, not watching their films, not reading their books. But to wipe them off the face of the earth like they never existed, I’ve got a big problem with that. That’s how I feel. SMH brother.
Spoken truly. Show me a perfect person, We all have made mistakes, cause our icons are living in glass houses 24/7 is no reason to condemn everything they have done. We only hear what others claim, do you condemn on hear say, or wait for rock solid proof, when even that can be faked. They are Human not Saints, not perfect.
Great reaction and a good question at the end. Was wondering if the same would apply to Bill Cosby? Grew up watching him and he was always hilarious. Would it be wrong to still find his old stuff funny? I try not to form an opinion on what is currently happening because I don’t really know all the facts but I don’t think that should take away from the fact that he was always a talented comedian. Anyway love your reactions and thoughts.
I never subscribed to the idea that something that happens now affects what happened before. If Bill Burr suddenly became a murderer, I'd still find his shit funny. The past is the past. The good AND the bad. Also there's a certain separation between the person and their work. Let's say, for instance, that we have 100% absolute proof that Michael did what he was accused of. Does that suddenly make his songs not good? I don't think so. Sure, you might examine certain lyrics more closely, or whatever, but it doesn't mean the man didn't release absolute fire on the industry on the regular. It's like politics. You can like the politician, but hate his politics. Or vise versa. Anyway, I'll stop rattling. You get it.
I'm not a Michael Jackson fan. I love his version and still prefer it over this one. Fuck cancel culture. My autocorrect tried to call it cancer culture, I should have let it be.

Regardless my opinion about the person MJ; I still have to respect his talent. Anyone who discounts the talent, they are insane.

And yes, J None left for the Navy. Gentleman in the center in the white shirt taking lead.
The music will ALWAYS live on. Great reaction sir!

One of my favorites - just a great message in this song. It was J None's last video as a member of VoicePlay before he went to the US Navy.
Good to see you back !
Please check out Geoff's version of House Of The Rising Sun
😲😲 WOW!!!!! That was absolutely incredible, I have never heard of these guys before seeing this video👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is a good one!
This was J None's last video before he left for the Navy. ... Guy

I'm so excited! I literally just suggested this!

Great music is just that .. great and should be listened to … and enjoyed. The singers are humans and we all have our faults.
you might enjoy voiceplay’s cover of kiss I think it’s sensational
Please react next to Geoff’s solo musics!!!
