when I was 13 I would watch this movie on VHS over and over and over again my dad had to hide it from me because he was afraid it would ruin the tape watching it so much. he died a year ago on April 1st. It brings tears to my eyes thinking about it, and how badly I wish I could talk to him about it again.
In Australia this film was called "KISS in the attack of the phantoms" (WHY???) and it was a cinema release. I went and saw it on the big screen 5 times. The best part was before the film instead of a cartoon or a short they played the videos for I Was Made For Loving You and Sure Know Something. It was AWESOME!!!!

Yep Magic Mountain in California. Kiss gave a free concert for three nights that was free to attend. Your commentary is hilarious, especially at the beginning. I watched this in 1992 on TV around Halloween. Before this, fans weren't allowed to mention this film at least not in the band's presence since it was a low point for Kiss and ironically there wasn't much printed in RIP nor Metal Edge magazines about this movie in 1989-1991 (the years I became a huge diehard Kiss fan, pre-internet days). Then years later I was quite surprised to find the vhs at Walmart and bought it for $5 in 1995. I was a little disappointed in the DVD release on Kissology 2. I had wished they would have released the original made for TV movie for the US version not the overseas release since some of scenes are cut from it. I actually love this movie no matter how bad it was or even how low budget. 😊 I enjoyed your commentary throughout your part 1. You made me laugh. 😂😊
