🍞 Whose childhood snack would you pick?!
Idk why i don't eat bologna and cheese sandwiches more often, it's so easy and delicious
I would pick yours over Lisa’s. I grew up where people kinda pressured me to eat sandwiches and be ‘normal’ and whatever other stuff like that so i kinda never really liked them. I also love hot chocolate.
Microwaved bread is something I try to stay far away from
Yours hands down.
I love hot chocolate with bread, in Mexico we have tablets like the ones you used but they are sweetened and they are called “chocolate abuelita” and I would usually use a denser bread called “ bolillo”
Chocolate
1st one: makes an entire recipe.
2nd one: *S A N D W I C H*
Not really all she did was make hot chocolate with some white bread and the other one just made a sandwich these are both very pitiful snacks but the hot chocolate can be good by itself or with some Thin Mints😅
@@Kazeshini6well at least it’s not just *S A N D W I C H*

Well it’s a childhood snack. When they were children, do you expect them to be cooking 20 step recipes and 5 star gourmet meals? The recipe was still very easy. Also, ITS A SNACKKKKK!!! Not an actual meal.
lisa is like here's a sandwich bro
Exactly 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
Not even a good sandwich either. I used to pan fry the bologna, toast the bread and add mustard. Best fuxking sandwich.
@@BaronRodney That’s delicious

As a Nigerian, my grandma would give us bread with tea or chocolate milk and we’d dip it in. I remember how the bread would be so soft and fall into the drink😭
Yummy! ❤
Ya i liked those times 😊
Funny cause sometimes I still do it . I dip my bread inside my coco😂
Yessss, finally someone I can relate to,I squeeze my bread so It can absorb the cocoa and not be all that soft
I usually just drown the bread in the milk and leave there before grabbing a spoon and 😊😊😊
As a Hispanic we also dip bread in abuelita hot chocolate especially during winter times its hits in the morning
(omg why are some people arguing asking if I speak Spanish lmao I do in fact speak Spanish and yes some Mexicans call the hot chocolate abuelita it just depends where your from and how your family calls certain things I
Made a silly little comment because it was cool that the creater did something similar when she was younger the way my family and many others did as well) * also sorry I called myself Hispanic I'm just so used to it cause that's what I've been called my whole life I should've said as a Mexican* :)
Definitely, Chocolate abuelita for cold weather (usually for dinner), and Chocomilk or Quick for a cold malteada.
I hate dipping regular bread in my abuelita hot chocolate. It has to be chocolate conchas or nothing lol

Yup! Was totally looking for someone to say this 🤢
@@amberdavis7243Funny comparison, but hey if it works, it works! When I graduated and discovered all the foods I now had the freedom to buy, my favorite snack of all things was cinnamon flavored whipped cream cheese spread thick on whole wheat bread. I don't think they make it anymore, but regular whipped cream cheese with cinnamon and a bit of sugar is pretty close. That and semi-frozen Snack Pack pudding!
Lmaooooo
Hey, culturally speaking, it was a common American snack growing up. It is/was affordable enough to be jail food, but the vast majority of Americans have been terribly struggling over the last 15yr.
In comparison, that hot chocolate used over 2oz of pure chocolate liquor, over $1-5 worth as of last fall depending upon whether you bought it in bulk or bought it from specific regions. My mom would have scolded at me for eating that much money worth of her chocolate for baking.
Nah Lisa did you dirty 😂
The first one is actually very similar to what me and my Mexican family eat as a snack sometimes ❤

Swap the microwave for frying it up in a skillet instead, you'll never see bologna the same way again🤌

What type of milk should be used?
@@user-nv1gm2zj7y Im certain she's aware with how ratio works. How you make chokolate is supposed to be subjective and to your own preference.
That will make it easier to melt and incorporate the chocolate, but it should not affect the final texture if that is pure chocolate liquor and the same amount of milk is used. What will affect the final texture would be to melt it in a little heavy cream and adding milk to thin it to the desired texture.

i'm filipino american but always visited the philippines as a kid; nothing like milo or ovaltine as a breakfast drink, i'd even scoop that up with a spoon just to eat. but probably like you, there's nothing like locally made/native peanut butter in warm pan de sal or whatever bread of your choice. idk if it's because other countries use coconut/palm oil, cane sugar or whatever better alternatives, but i've never really liked the peanut butter here in the States.
they say we can't memorize taste, but every time i eat peanut butter, i always remember the native peanut butter packaged in a re-used Nescafe instant coffee glass container. we had a ton of those glass containers, and re-used them too as glass cups or coffee cups, or as containers for other things like sugar and powdered milk as our creamer.
