🚄 Here's a list of everywhere we ate in Japan: jeanelleats.com/where-we-ate-in-japan/ 🍩 Which of these snacks would YOU want to have while speeding through Japan?!
@@meghnasingh1121 Actually there are some vegetarian options in japan, also there are vegetarian sushi and stuff. Not hardcore veg but still livable imo
@@SeiaF16 its actually a thing that some vegetarians cant even eat veg food if its made on the same utensils on which non veg was made I really love Japan and have always wanted to go there but the food is the sole reason i cant go
Omg everything looks SO GOOD! I can’t believe you can get most of those meals from a vending machine or just from around the train stations. Those bentos all looked amazing! Japan is seriously on a whole ‘nother level
Yes, how amazing, what a great idea for convenience. Imagine if it were available everywhere around the globe, I bet people would grow massively rich! We may be living in the UK, but there is something incredibly tragic about pre-packed sandwiches here, esp on trains
The first time I experienced the canned corn drink was on top of Mt Fuji. It hit so different up there as it was freezing cold. The can warmed my hands and belly. It was perfect. Haven’t had it since but do remember this so fondly because it was truly an experience.
I got so excited when I saw this 😍🤩 Also, I don’t know why but this is one of the only food vlogs that I don’t feel like someone is just bragging at me. I feel like I am right there learning and enjoying it with them and happy for them 😄 💖💓
You can never go wrong with satsumaimo. Several Asian stores here in Vancouver sell bags of 4 or 5 cooked sweet potatoes which you can eat cold or heat up in the microwave. I prefer them cold. I can't understand why they aren't available everywhere...a much healthier alternative to candy bars and the other crap we have to choose from at convenience stores in North America. And satsumaimo is equally satisfying in the taste department. 40 years ago you were hard-pressed to find more than one or two sushi bars in major American or Canadian cities. Now they're ubiquitous; you can't throw a rock in Vancouver without breaking the window of a sushi restaurant. I predict that satsumaimo will eventually catch on and be as readily available, too!
I'm not an expert by any means but I believe the quality of of Japan's food is because of the freshness and obsession over their ingredients. I wouldn't say any of the flavors, spices, etc. are really all that adventurous. It just seems like if Japan makes something, they make it REALLY GOOD
i have them all the time and theyre great! you can find them in basically any asian grocery where I live (US) just chuck them in the oven for a bit and theyre good to go :)
Wow, it all looks amazingly good, esp. the matcha bakery goods. I wish we could find that in London UK. All the bento boxes look not just beautifully packed, but so appetising! 😋
I visited Japan recently. I must admit that the whole trip was about me obsessing over the food. I ate more wagyu than a person should and I also found my happy place inside of Mos Burger. So much food and not enough space in my stomach!! Japan is such an amazing place to visit. So long as you are a quiet and respectful tourist 😌
Any of the bentos. They are my favorite thing ever. I have a hard time picking and eating one thing. So bento boxs are like the best invention ever (to me anyway), and I love fish. 🙂
I was obsessed and bought too many snacks for the bullet train when I went 😂 I wound up eating the rest at the end of the day or sharing with our tour group
I remember being able to get Udon noodles with Tempura Shrimp in some places - not sure if you could take that on the train but I did have a bento I took on the train and it was great (pre-pandemic)
i am obseesed with bullet trains, and no matter the distance, i still eat a bento on the train. I remember last time travelling on the bullet trains, i had this bento that had raw tuna and ikura on top which really satisfied my fish cravings. if you guys travel on bullet trains i recommend getting a bento because it just feels so different.
For the ehoumaki we eat those on setsubun so March 2nd or March 3rd! We eat a long whole ehoumaki without talking or taking out of your mouth. You have to eat the whole thing first! It’s yummy- You don’t have to do that if it’s not on setsubun!! BTW I’M SO HAPPY YOU VISITED HIROSHIMA!! :D I LIVE IN HIROSHIMA OMGGGG! I’m pretty sure you’re from the Philippines and I just wanted to say that I LOVE FILIPINOS AND THE PHILIPPINES! They’re the sweetest and such beautiful people 😭
When I was in Japan I LOVEEDDDDDD THE CORN SOUP when then one time when I drank it (i think I drank too much)I went to a restaurant and I threw the corn soup up-
I don't personally eat foods like that but the mochi's looks nice. If it was on a trine I'd probably just buy loads of cookies and chocolate to eat during the journey
I have watched this video more than a million time the food have eaten looks amazing if I ever go to Japan and travel in bullet train I would definitely eat this
I went to Japan on a college trip, and one of my teachers was also obsessed with corn soup, he’d always try to hunt down the vending machines that sold it
I am SO jealous. I have a lot of problems with feeding myself that mostly stem from my lactose and gluten intolerances and many many allergies meaning most of the usual lunch and breakfast foods here not being an option for me. But all of the food in this video I'm pretty sure I'd be able to eat. If I lived in Japan I would probably have s healthier weight, and I'd have way more energy too...
One way ticket (bullet train) = ~USD120 / JPY 14,700-15,550. Depending on time needed to reach destination & station stopovers. Less station stopovers + faster time to arrive at destination = more expensive.
I want to go to Japan so badly! But I don’t know if they even speak a little bit of English, because I don’t know how to speak Japanese at all! And I would defiantly eat the mochi, that sounded the best, also the star bucks!!
I'll be in Nagoya next month. Then travel to Tokyo and/or Kobe from there via the Shinkansen. Will eat Nagoya's kushimono (fried/grilled food on sticks) & possibly Kobe's beef snacks onboard.
i was in japan last year. couldn't stop buying their canned corn soup! it was so warm and homely, that's also was red bean canned drink! it was so good too... miss japan for it 🤣

Japan Is a food paradise that must be explored.

ekiben FTW!
Are all this food coming from vending machines on stations? Does it mean you have some times to spend on the stations to continue to travel?

@@TheDogGoesWoof69 the structure of a bullet train makes it very calm inside while going at a impressing speed

omg thank you! I totally understand how travel videos can become "flexes" and I'm happy you enjoy my POV!
i like trains. *splat*
I'd take the corn soup and hot hojicha tea on my bullet train ride. It's cheap, fast, and delicious!!
couldn't ride without them!

No need to cry about it.
You could try to bake one yourself, it really isn't hard and it'll always taste good ;D
Watching this in Ramadan well fasting right now I’m starving but it feels so good
