    I don’t know about the free part making the sale easier. Because when it’s my money and I have skin in the game, I feel like I try to get the sale and close more deals. Based on the fact I know I have to convert and get an ROI.

      I think the same way, too. But I realized that mindset isn't homogenous across all agents. In fact, most perform better without the financial risk associated with buying leads. That was always hard for me to believe until I saw it for myself in my free lead program.

    I've been of the fence of joining the DIG agency for some time now but I see far more failures than successes. Would you say that anyone can write that much AP or is there a lot of luck with getting good leads?

    Hi, Dave. Thanks for the great content for us to learn about your program. With the free lead program, it seems your agents are busy selling throughout the day. How do your agents have time to do needs service work in order to keep these policies on the books? Are you seeing a high enough persistence rate?

    • @TheDIGAgency
      @TheDIGAgency  3 месяца назад +2

      Final expense is not service-heavy - top producers may spend a few hours weekly at most, which is less than 5% of their time at work. Nevertheless, we're working on developing a retention team to help free lead agents follow up on missed payments and service work issues. Hopefully we'll have that launched by the end of 2nd quarter 2024.

    • @TheDIGAgency
      @TheDIGAgency  3 месяца назад +1

      40%-ish of the $70,000AP is a conservative expectation.

    Would it be safe to say that if you are in the free lead program, you'll roughly need to write 2 policies for every one written by an agent purchasing their own leads....when factoring in no lead costs?

    • @danbuffington75
      @danbuffington75 3 месяца назад

      The free leads program pays 50% and if you buy your own leads, you get 100%. So your math is correct.

    • @TheDIGAgency
      @TheDIGAgency  3 месяца назад

      On paper, sure. But what you cannot measure is the advantages that a free lead program provides 90% of the agent population, such as no risk of loss, no worrying about finding lead vendors or learning to self-generate leads, etc. FYI - our free lead agents represent 20% of our agent force but account for 50% to 60% of our top 20 monthly producers.

    • @timhildebrandsalestrainer
      @timhildebrandsalestrainer 3 месяца назад

      @@danbuffington75 that's not how it works. you get 100%, but you pay ALL of the lead cost, so you are making maybe 50-75% after lead and system costs. Make sense? So when you're at 50% with zero costs, how much more do you need to sell, if any at all? Brokers are 100% - lead/systems costs. FREE LEADS are 50% - $0 for leads/systems... so the free lead agent can easily scale up and sell way more and make way more 95% of the time

    • @soberservants
      @soberservants 3 месяца назад +1

      David. If we go free lead can we later go broker? Do we keep the book? And can we roll over into Medicare with the 5 year plan to passive income? Or is the free lead strictly straightline income focused ? Thank you sir!

      Somewhere between 35% and 40% conservatively accounting for likely future cancellations and chargebacks.
