My son died last week, and this song was the very last thing in his browser history. I know it always brought him such joy and peace, and it does for me as well. He left my family far too soon, but the fact that he spent some of his last moments on this earth enveloped in this beautiful song gives me more comfort than you can ever know. Thank you.

It was really the first season that was nostalgic, then everything got plot heavy. (Which isn't a bad thing at all-) But I think compared to the later seasons compared to how it first started the tone if widely different. It shows truly how much Finn grew up and how later his innocence of being a goofy and silly kid who was simply a Hero on simple adventures changed.
This song is for that childhood, and a reminder for others who also experienced it.

Adventure time had some peaceful music and a good story every episode

This hits differently when you listen to it after waking up from an accidental nap and finding out that it's already midnight. Especially when you're in college and you realize that that you're over the due date on the assignments. This makes you regret growing up and makes you realize that being a child was so much better because you don't have to handle all this responsibility and other complicated stuff.

I had it 🥲 and this was our little families nightly ritual we always watched this together. We finally finished the series and my husband and I held each other in tears during this song and my husband died of cancer shortly after 😥 always makes me cry.

I had it too. She first discovered Adventure Time because of me because I watched it at her house to remember my childhood and she noticed it and actually liked it. She liked it so much that she finished the entire show before me and she always told me that if I got to the last episode to stop until I was with her because she wanted to watch it with me and see my reaction. We broke up and I never finished the show and never could watch it with her, to this day I still haven't watched it, maybe someday I will when I'm feeling better, maybe with another partner. We loved each other a lot but I kind of screwed it all up and listening to this song reminds me of her.

If you've watched Adventure Time as a kid, you only watched it as a kid then, but as an adult, watching it makes more sense, more meaning and you really know what is all about. Adventure time is deeper than we see it. Every season, the episodes have a great message.
That’s what makes it timeless for me. When I was a kid i liked the bright colours and characters. Now I appreciate the depth of the show and the story it tells.
I thought the show looked and was really dumb when I was a kid. Gave it a try as an adult and I can't get enough of it. It's 80% of what I watch when I'm idle or tending to my baby.

All these shows have hit their finale by now, but… the adventure never ends. Go out, find your own story, and if you can’t find it, write it!

Im not a whole lot older, but I'm a bit older, adulting for a short while. Ima keep it straight with you. It doesn't get easier, it just gets harder by the day. If you can find happiness though, that would be enough. Find time to find your happiness and don't sap your happiness at the sacrifice for a paycheck or position too quickly, find your happy tune and be ready in the future. Always have that opprotunity at hands reach, but enjoy the slight freedoms you have and live out the little things you wanna do. I cried. I remember my younger self and my siblings sitting together in front of tv even though we don't understand that time what fin and Jake saying because English is not our native language and watching it till the episode finished and this song finally came out and we all gonna sang together even the lyrics is just made up, life is so simple back then but as we grow up things changes and innocence are now gone and I feel like they all have different life without me and it feels like I don't know them anymore and it hurts but I can't go back to those gold old years.

I stopped watching Adventure time after like season 3, the ending song just popped in my head and now I want to rewatch the whole series

Goes downhill hard after season 5 but that is also when the creator left in an official capacity. 6 is ok. The rest are junk with only a handful of good episodes. The finale was a travesty.

Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben Bruh not at all, Pen Ward never even left the show, and CAWM was absolutely excellent. Just cause it got a little darker and more mature didn’t make it lose its charm.

this song is awesome and maayyyybe the editing was a bit off but it was a pretty cool idea to edit these two together. the transition is pretty spotless but the fact that our dear ashley sang the two versions so differently gives it away. honestly i think the version played at the end credits is less good than the original :/
