    I wish I’d ordered that palette when it was available.... my bad! Thanks for sharing. I’ll have to definitely order it when they restock! 😊

    beautiful review as per usual, very informative, thank you so much! wish a.gallo was more available in asian countries. they're so hhard to find! just watching your videos make me smile so that will have to suffice for now ;P hmm, would you consider doing a review/comparison video of the tintoretto brushes and how they compare to say... escoda? seems like there are hardly any decent reviews out there.

      I will put a tintoretto brush review in my list. I have one other non-travel brush that I can review as well and compare to other brands like Escoda.

    Great video! I'm looking for that brush but can't find it - please could you let me know the exact name of it?

      The brush is a travel brush by tintoretto and came with the palette from A. Gallo. A Gallo sells the brushes, but only when they restock which is once or twice a month. You can also find them at Jackson's, but they may not have this exact one. Here is a link to their tintoretto travel brushes: www.jacksonsart.com/en-us/search/?q=tintoretto%2Btravel%2Bbrush&___store=jacksonsart_us&acc=3b3dbaf68507998acd6a5a5254ab2d76

    Hey Dear, I watched your video at least 5-6 times already. Unfortunately I can not afford the colors, but I still can day dream 😊 Could you show the combined pallet of your A. Gallo 🐓 colors? I know you made extensive revues on both 12x pans... but I still would love it! 🥰 Maby including if you see/feel any difference between the Naturale and Standard collection while painting? 🎨 🖌 Tank you for this lovely video! 🥰 Best Alex

    PS: Morellone is a italian red wine 🍷 and not a mushrooms 😉

    • @MysteryArts

      Ah! That also makes sense given the color.

    • @chris5355
      @chris5355 2 года назад +2

      Actually, Morellone is the ancient name of an iron oxide earth pigment (aka: Italian red oxide, Italian violet earth) used since mediaeval times (but, also, morels are a type of mushroom someone which have natural brownish pigmentation and Morello is a type of cherry and the suffix "-one" in Italian indicates "large, much, great, very". The wine may have been named after the pigment, but take your pick!

    What? 100 Euros for 12 half pans? That's $10/half pan. More expensive than Daniel Smith or Schmincke Horadam. It appears that these watercolors are overpriced...

    • @MysteryArts
      @MysteryArts  3 года назад +8

      That price is not unusual for handmade small batch watercolors.

    • @timeglass777
      @timeglass777 3 года назад

      @@MysteryArts But it is still expensive! It's only half pan - which is priced $5-8 for reliable artist brands. For example, Daniel Smith 24 half pan set is about $115. Another example, Italian brand Maimeri Blue 24 half pan set is about $119. Both priced less than $5/half pan. No less quality, if not better.

      They are expensive, but these are not made in a cost effective factory. A. Gallo are hand made and priced accordingly. I think we all are use to mass factory made products, and we are all really spoiled with inexpensive options. I believe the price is fair for the amount of work that goes into hand milled high end pigments... That's why we have choices... 🙂
