Crowds have been gathering to pay their last respects to former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in the capital Tokyo, where a funeral service was held on July 12, 2022. Funeral attendance was limited to family members and people who were close to the former leader. After the service, Abe’s body was driven past areas and buildings that he was associated with, including the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) headquarters, the prime minister’s office and the parliament building. Abe, who will be cremated at the Kirigaya Funeral Hall, was shot dead on July 8 in the city of Nara by a lone gunman while campaigning for his party for the July 10 upper house election, which the Liberal Democratic Party won by a landslide.

Such a tragedy, Japan being one of the lowest crime rate in the world to receive such tragedy is just awful. A prime minister which focus is on making his country a better place along with several other countries, which he definitely did. RIP Shinzo Abe, you have my fullest and best respect.

@@freeworld88888 you consider suicide a crime? Some parts of the world considers it a crime but not all, also have you heard of the things happening around the world? Are you deaf or do you purposely filter out what you want to hear? If suicide is the worst crime out there then world would be a better place than the massacres & wars that are happening. Open your eyes and listen with your ears stop trying to put a mask to filter out the things that are happening in the world. Additionally, I said "one of the lowest" not the lowest out of all which means it should be within the top countries which have the lowest crime rate, know your facts. The fact you came here to shame a Prime Minister which does his job is a shame in itself.
