Just got back from four weeks in Chiang Mai. Spent 18 fun days with a bar girl I picked up on 9/9 to celebrate my 74th birthday. I had a wonderful time, of course I fell in love with her, but now I am back home and she is back at the bar. I miss her bad, but will get over it soon, just as I have all the others. The father of a mate of mine, now passed, used to go to Thailand every so often. He was in his eighties at the time when he go emotionally involved with a bar girl and he was so lovestruck they he couldn't see reality for what it was. The relationship wasn't quite over yet, but it became clear to me, we're heading in that direction. Remember guys, it's your cash in your wallet, and it takes two to tango. She can only fool you if you allow it.

Spot on, Dr.Mark. I had an interesting encounter with a bar girl last month in Bangkok. As soon as she started paying me special attention I asked if she did this to all the guys. She answered yes and that it was her job to talk to the customers, get them to buy her drinks and get a tip for it all. I thought that was so refreshing I ended up buying her three shots. Yes, they will kiss you to some degree, put your hand on their hips, and even put your hands in other places. But as soon as they feel they've reached the end of the money train, they move on. My girl soon slipped away and was working over the next guy. Then they asked for money again, and my reply was just "Let her die". Then she (he) dumped me......
I had a Russian Scammer a while back also asking for money so she can buy a plane ticket to meet me. So, I said how do I know you are really the woman in the picture of the dating site. I requested a naked photo and she complied. The naked picture has some dude's feet at the bottom of the photo apparently reclined on a couch taking her photos. So, I asked her if those feet belong to her BF or husband's. She never replied after that.

As an expat living in Thailand for many years, we get to know the girls and they tell us there stories and I can confirm this type of thing is so true and many of the girls find it funny and so do we, but it can be sad to when we here of girls having houses built in the village on there free land given by the king, which also sometimes they charge the tourists for the land they already own, the family own the land the girl has been sent to look for a tourist to build the house, usually the family then move in.

I do know several Bobs and everyone has crazy stories. I do think your stories are a little jaded because of the cities you are going to. You did mention this in the video.

Hey mate, just recently subscribed to your channel. Your vid’s are well presented and….interesting. Have completed a few ‘tours of duty’ in Pattaya myself, the dangers are all too present. As you say, an addictive drug. Anti-matter, like a black hole sucking your sole. I always break free after a few days but always seem to return - got to keep the faith and not sell out.

Actually I think Bob got off easy compared to some farangs. You have farangs that bought cars, and houses only to be shown the door the day the contractor finishes the home. The problem with guys like Bob is they will be chumps for girls no matter where they live. It’s called setting boundaries and sticking to them. I am going to go with this being an apocryphal story. I lived and worked in both Phuket and your message was bang on. There will always be “Bobs” that want to believe. This is a good cautionary fable but I think the 50k baht per week to not have to do the job, followed by her continuing to do the job with “Bob’s” full knowledge is where I started to lose the plot. There's lots of nice civilian girls. If you're lonely, be honest with yourself, and stay in regular areas to be around normal people. If you know you're a softie and want someone nice, Philippines is the better place for that. A lot less places to get in trouble and the civvies speak English. Just got back from four weeks in Chiang Mai. Spent 18 fun days with a bar girl I picked up on 9/9 to celebrate my 74th birthday. I had a wonderful time, of course I fell in love with her, but now I am back home and she is back at the bar. I miss her bad, but will get over it soon, just as I have all the others. The father of a mate of mine, now passed, used to go to Thailand every so often. He was in his eighties at the time when he go emotionally involved with a bar girl and he was so lovestruck they he couldn't see reality for what it was. He paid and paid while he was there and when he got home the bar girl constantly cried poor and begged for money. My mate only realised what was going on when he went over one day to borrow some tools only to find they were missing, then he noticed a lot of things were missing. He asked his dad where everything had gone and it all came out that he'd been selling whatever he could to help the bar girl financially. I never really got into details but apparently it took a long time and a lot of effort to convince him that she was only after his money. You're doing a service putting this video up. If it save just one guy from being financially and emotionally taken advantage of then it has been totally worth it.

I told her that I won't pay the dowry as where I'm from, a man only pays an escort for her service, and I told her that since I can't buy a house in my name, I won't buy it at all. The relationship wasn't quite over yet, but it became clear to me, we're heading in that direction. Remember guys, it's your cash in your wallet, and it takes two to tango. She can only fool you if you allow it.

Spot on, Dr.Mark. I had an interesting encounter with a bar girl last month in Bangkok. As soon as she started paying me special attention I asked if she did this to all the guys. She answered yes and that it was her job to talk to the customers, get them to buy her drinks and get a tip for it all. I thought that was so refreshing I ended up buying her three shots. Yes, they will kiss you to some degree, put your hand on their hips, and even put your hands in other places. But as soon as they feel they've reached the end of the money train, they move on. My girl soon slipped away and was working over the next guy. I walked over, apologized for interrupting, thanked her for her time (it's a floor show, guys!) and slyly slipped far too much money into her hand.
I felt good about the encounter until the next morning when I realized I was probably pegged as a guy who would likely pay more for the truth, and so perhaps I was played after all. It's all a wicked game. And as Dr. Mark says, leave your emotions out of it.
You didn't get played. You willingly gave her the extra cash and she was honest with you, and you decided to help her out. She didn't deceive you, and you both did a good thing so in my eyes, it was a healthy exchange you should feel good about. Cheers.

As an expat living in Thailand for many years, we get to know the girls and they tell us there stories and I can confirm this type of thing is so true and many of the girls find it funny and so do we, but it can be sad to when we here of girls having houses built in the village on there free land given by the king, which also sometimes they charge the tourists for the land they already own, the family own the land the girl has been sent to look for a tourist to build the house, usually the family then move in.

Actually I think Bob got off easy compared to some farangs. You have farangs that bought cars, and houses only to be shown the door the day the contractor finishes the home. The problem with guys like Bob is they will be chumps for girls no matter

I am going to go with this being an apocryphal story. I lived and worked in both Phuket and your message was bang on. There will always be “Bobs” that want to believe. There's lots of nice civilian girls. If you're lonely, be honest with yourself, and stay in regular areas to be around normal people. If you know you're a softie and want someone nice, Philippines is the better place for that. A lot less places to get in trouble and the civvies speak English.
