Thank you Hornbill Tv for this impromptu opportunity. Although I was a little lost however , I’m glad I could put forward my limited knowledge to the viewers.
Impressed with how Yatra kid spoke without being scared of anyone and speaking facts. So true Yatra kid , Nagaland is a land of hypocrisy. Real RUclipsr
Absolutely!!! This is the best news of the year 2023. Thank you Adona for interviewing the educated people, this way the news channel also becomes educational instead of entertainment... It is always important to bring educated people in our society up to the front, this way our society can move forward.
Some stalls bring 2/3kgs of chicken, pork or beef from the market for 600/700 Rs. at the most, and try to make 20/30 thousand Rs out of it just in 1/2 nights.... This is the reason, why many of us NAGAS are unsuccessful in business....
The previous speaker the one with black hoodie possibly the owner of the Garden Canteen at CIHSR Hospital, articulated valid points that resonated with me. I particularly appreciate the emphasis on offering diverse food options from various tribes. Additionally, the suggestion to ensure flexible pricing for everyone is noteworthy, especially in a time where some stall owners tend to significantly raise their prices. It's essential to promote fairness and inclusivity in pricing for the benefit of all customers
I still remember the night carnival when it was in main town near Christian school.. That was the best night carnival..... But now night carnival is becoming gambling and alcohol
Wherever it may,,,,Night carnival should not be given to private organisations or committees. It should be directly under administrative control... with proper guidance and directions. Otherwise night carnivals may turn into ghost events.
How can you blame a people who just came out of the jungle some 150 years ago and are now using smart phones and driving four wheelers, and pretending to be civilized. We as a people still have a long way to go when it comes to ethics, civic sense and personal responsibility.
Exactly, thats why I believe that youth needs to go outside of our comfort zone nation and international to see how people socialise in society and are lot of people who misuse the opportunity but also there are people who learn from it too. Use the opportunity for such as education and employment outside of Nagaland as a learning experience to come back and change our tiny world. It’s amazing when you do that. Teach one and it goes in 🤍
Carnival originated as a pagan festival in ancient Egypt to celebrate the end of winter and the beginning of spring. The festival was called Sham El-Nessim. The festival was celebrated as far back as 4000 BC. At the time, people believed that winter spirits ruled the world and needed to be driven out for summer to return.Carnival is a festival that happens over a few days, usually just before Lent, because traditionally many people go on a fast during Lent, giving up meat, sugar or other foods and drink, carnival is an opportunity to enjoy these treats for the last time.
Yes , the young lady has correctly point out the present negative state of so called Night Carnival (adulterated) , should welcome all with systematic rule and good environment rather than reserved for gambling spot of anti social elements only 🙏
- Regulation of timing is a must.... No carnival, irrespective, should extend beyond 2200hrs... - Any gathering that involves family participation...liquor just has to give way and there's no other way about it. - Organisers should not look for petty gains... As brought out by one gentlemen, give out stalls community wise. - Rate lists should be formalized and not regulated as per sellers/vendors choosing. - Variety is of essence..Not the same mundane and conceptualized preferences, year after year. For organisers this aspect is of prime importance. - Gambling - Absolutely unnecessary. - Lastly, please do justice to the term "Carnival ". There's more to it then the way it is being presented/organised.
just my opinion as a teen i used to go to night carnival to have fun and roam with my friends and search mates, and sometimes go on date, everything was fun. as an adult now i go to drink and have fun, everything is fun until some random people start challenging, not onlyy ruin the fun but now it goes fest to fest
Supermarket area is notorious for alcohol, drugs, prostitute since time memorial. Its scary to walk that path during night time, forget about carnival.
Dimapur night carnival starts from alcohol and maybe will end from alcohol. And (Hornbill at Kisama) can't open without alcohol 😂😀🤣 Hats off to those 3brother n sisters. Well said. Thank u Adona. ❤️ from KOHIMA.
I attended night carnival at super market in dimapur. And I lost 25k there because of some scammers. They have this spinning wheel game with some digits on the wheel and all the players playing tht game r all together. So it's a team of scammers who r robbing people but people think it's a fair game and they're just unlucky that they loose but it's a complete scam and robbery. Those guys r right in front of football game stall. And say tht they're from guwahati. Real scammers be careful. That was the only bad experience I had in nagaland other than that, I loved my stay.
😂😂😂Never play that spinning wheel...They always keep some partner with them to attract players, cos this partner keep winning wherever he or she put the money ..And when we put on the same number their partner put, we never win....thats what i have observed and learned as per my experience....😢😢😢
Well said everyone. I think dimapur police also need to step up their duty. Carnival should be there but need to maintain the standard and decency for all general public. Hoping to see Good carnival from coming years.
Since everyone made their point now let’s see what steps will the government or authorities take. Nagaland for Christ is worst during Christmas season 😂
During night carnival I was stunned when they were openly shouting play for just Rs. 10 and win 2 cane beer. It’s not like the old times and the way how we use to enjoy with family members.
Went once to the night carnival back in 2017 and never went back again. People were drunk as hell and we had to be wary of them. We went there to have fun, not create/stuck in a problem because of some drunk bum trying to act tough.
Very true. I went out with my kids at night carnival in chumukedima tonight because my kids were so exited to see. But once I entered in carnival site, the first stole I saw was gambling stole and as I go forward majority of the stole are only for gambling and I also saw some stole selling mudhu.
Night carnival is dead, boycott night carnival, and dear Tourism department and DMC, DCCI , I hope you all are watching and something is ringing a bell on your head now, in the end the all responsibility goes to the concerned department whosoever is managing is to be blame.
night carnival should not be given to private individual and let them choose lottery who ever win that stall type they will open that stall only for example tea stall , games stall or fast food stall like wise . .dnt allow them to open what they want . . coz everyone open to gain profit so many people will open only ricebeer stall or playing card stll coz its easy money and more money . .
Club and all is opened for drinks purpose only but not night carnival.....what tiapong said is maybe true but.....we dont go to club with family members but in night carnival,we too wanna feel the vibe of festive season with families....and after seeing the stalls selling drinks and all...we dont feel safe to roam with families too....
Carnival should be a peaceful place where family should spend the holidays with festive spirit . Not a place for goons and Thugs. The authority should impose stren terms and condition with strict vigilance to the stall owners Violators sould be suspended I still remember the 1st 2 carnivals where Even the Bible was distributed And the spirit of carnival was such a blessing Praying that good all days will get back on track .
The word is said to come from the Late Latin expression carne levare, which means "remove meat"; a folk etymology derives it from carne vale, "farewell to meat". In either case, this signifies the approaching fast.Carnival, the merrymaking and festivity that takes place in many Roman Catholic countries in the last days and hours before the Lenten season.Lent is a period of 40 days during which Christians remember the events leading up to and including the death of Jesus Christ, whose life and teachings are the foundation of Christianity. The 40-day period is called Lent after an old English word meaning 'lengthen'.
