I can confirm 100% that "zoning out" is a symptom of severe anxiety. I did it myself just last night, to the point my mom had to snap me out of it and she thought something was medically wrong, asking if I was okay. I was hearing what my mom was saying, but I was somewhere else - I was in two different places lol. I used to get in trouble at school all the time for it.. It's the brain's way of distracting itself from the situations we're in. Love you Alexis, I'm sending big hugs! ❤

It’s sooo crazy bc “my first” was the same way. Played me for yearss as a teen but mainly my early 20s. But I didn’t care much bc I knew he wasn’t who I wanted to marry or have kids with.
Fast forward to 26 & I got a new job, this guy walks in during orientation to talk to us about the job etc… and I’m like “we’re gonna be together forever & I’m gonna have his babies” & I was so specific about having multiple with him. I just felt it. Well today we have 3 babies lol it’s been 5 years. I never even told him I felt that way as soon as he walked into the orientation office, I feel like he’s gonna think I’m crazy or something 😂 especially since I was too shy to talk to him about anything other than work for almost a year until I halfway got the courage to let him know I liked him lmaooo. We been together ever since. Things haven’t been all the way perfect but it still creeps me out sometimes how I felt like I could just feel the future.

My son has been grieving for his best friend passing and when I tell you seeing him this way is a different kind of pain.

An I trusted her and was having her talk to him for me and also cause he really had no one to talk to but me and the whole time she was making me look bad smh.. An her kids were my God kids and I would of done anything for her and I did. I always had her back. Now they aren’t even together anymore. Hey love not to try to diagnose you or anything but it sounds like your experiencing dissociation at the times when you explain that you feel on “autopilot” hope this helps a little bit if you end up discovering that that was the case but I definitely relate to what you’ve said and I feel that trying to find a spot of reality if that makes sense to hold on to can sort of help bring you out of that trans like state back into the present moment.
