- The Fukushima waste water into sea is a controversial plan to release treated radioactive water from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station into the Pacific Ocean. Since then, Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO), the operator of the plant, has been storing the water in tanks.
