  • Inside Australia's Mafia gangs:
This week looks at how tight-knit mafia families have evolved from the 1930s to the 1990s and now, and how the Calabrian mafia's tight grip on a range of enterprises have been maintained in Australia.
GANGS OF OZ also takes a close look behind the scenes of some high-profile murders, how mafia figures have influenced politics throughout the years and how these "families" have maintained their strong position.
There's also the remarkable story of how fruit and veg trading become a potentially bloody business as a supermarket chain sought outside help to take on the high-profile rip-off merchants at a major market.

Nowadays explicit crime isn't even needed anymore, politics and corporations is where the really money and crime is.

Funny thing is they spouse to be %1 and most are broke or working for minimum wage. All their good for is go and pick on weak in a group and run back to their club house and snort their takings and drink . They go on about their colours and as soon as someone offers them more or better deal they throw in their colours and swap . I say I respect Asians and middle eastern and some old school aussies .

Calabrian Ndrangheta has a very simular structure to the Siclian Costa Rosa (AKA the Mafia) and is often described as another Mafia.

WTF is Costa Rosa. Thats a wine🤦🏽‍♂️ Cosa Nostra meaning Our Thing is Sicilian or simply The Mafia. N'Drangheta or The Honoured Society is Calabrian and Camorra is from Naples.

The Australian Police & government are stupidly delusional when it comes to major organised crime operating in Australia. In 1993 they were discussing if there was a Mafia in Australia, call us slow learner's because we didn't learn from the America Mafia and other Mafias world wide. Australia is an easy target because we are behind in knowledge and it's just that. Australia hasn't fully uncovered the depth of how major organised crime, Believe me when I say this they can infiltrate the local police force, the local council, even playing in parliament it can even reach the president. It's all about 💰 and it doesn't end up with the money ..But what is done with this money , it goes overseas to infiltrate other parts of governments. It's a business. Doesn't stop. Will not stop. Never will.

None of you know what youre on about.
M.A.F.I.A. stands for Morte Alla Francia Italia Anelia
or 'Death to the French is Italy's cry'. Poor farmer's and peasants formed their own militia to defend themselves and their land from the French when no one else would. This is where the word mafia comes from.
Secondly, the Calabrian mafia is the strongest organization and yes the Australian end answers to the Italian end.
Alphonso was a nobody as far as being a made man.
However dont be fooled and underestimate the reach and power of the honoured society in Australia. They are the longest running, most established, well connected and politically influential organization there is.
When a lot of Italians migrated to the States or here they were poor and couldnt speak english and had no one to protect them so they paid a tax to the organization in turn for protection... protection from those who they were paying.
