I've had a Nokia Windows phone, Samsung and they were the ones I learned about Dark/Night Mode. If a smartphone doesn't have it I won't use it. I have an HTC and a Umidigi F1 still sitting in their boxes because they don't have Dark Mode. The Umidigi I won last year and tried using for a couple of months and found a few software issues so I put it back in box and pulled out the LG I bought for my birthday.
The perfect phone for someone unwilling get ripped off and spend $1000 on a phone. It does everything the expensive phones do without the price tag... thanks for the tips.

@@foultips just bought it BC needed something cheap for tethering to PC on boost. $136 free month with unlimited +12gb hotspot. the lg g7 thinq is a better option. One less camera though and it's cheaper

I ditched my iPhone x and I just bought my new LG stylo 6 with cricket wireless unlimited data :) I've been doing hella research on the LG and so far I am not disappointed I feel like I'll have this phone for years compared to the iPhone that literally only lasted me one year before it started getting glitchy and hard to manage. Go for it!
Yep. That came on my Moto G7 Power and when I tried it I thought it sucked. My latest LG is the K50 and when it was updated to Android 10 it got it. I love how I can rearrange the buttons to how I like them. LG so far is the only phone I've seen with the drop down Notification button.
I didn't like the gesture only either but now I keep forgetting I put it back on buttons because now the gestures don't work LOL the first time I powered the phone up I was like omg. every time I touched something I was switching screens etc. I had the 5 before the 6 and it was so different.
My stylo is 2 years old and still like brand new 🥰 Yesterday I bought new cover and screen and updated everything but everything on the phone and still is the best phone 🔥 Sad LG closed down

Here's a tip for you sound people. Tap settings>sound>Sound quality and effects>Equalizer. Here you can adjust the EQ to your liking. "Lounge" is a good one or tap the "+" sign in the top right corner and create your own. The "V" shape also sounds really good too. Made a big difference for me in sound quality.

Really this phone blows I had it for 63 days and it blows he got the phone for free I would bet you 50 bucks this is not the phone in his pocket... Lol this phone sucks bad. Ok I bought one full price 279 and I was so excited I taught I had a great phone..... It took me 3 days to realize it was the worst phone I ever had.... Watching on my stylo 6. I like it, I've had a 4, and a 5 and it's not the fastest phone but it's really easy to learn the gestures and the audio quality is awesome riding in the car. Camera is decent overall satisfied here lol
Imagine what the phones from Asian market do to u 😂 they r soo value for money like 90hz display for 180$ with 20 watt charger and 30 watt charger support a processor from mediatek which is Snapdragon 730g equivalent side mounted fingerprint scanner and btw it's a 1080p display oh and I have Samsung m21 6k mah battery and 15 watt fast charger with a 1080p oled screen for 200$ and it's not the most value for money device here even after having all this! Cuz phones have better then my phone

There actually is all you have to do is 1. On the home screen hold your thumb down 2. Select Widget and theme That how I changed my message bubble but no color unless you download them emoji keyboard than change it from there hope it works for ya
I have a question...I went from Stylo 2 to Stylo 6. A feature on the 2 I miss is that there was a little red light on the top status bar, I guess you call it, that would flash when I had a message. I don't see any instructions that tell me if that option is available on the 6 and if it is, how do I enable it. I'm technologically challenged folks, in case you couldn't tell by the wording of my inquiry.
This phone is being mailed to me. I was reading some comments. Can you not put apps on the sd card? That's one reason I wanted this phone. It was a specific question I asked.
After watching this, I changed the developer options on my Stylo 4 to .5 . Wow! What a difference! It feels new! We are getting new Stylo 6 phones this week and I will do this to them. I am disappointed that you can't put things on the SD card; what is the point of having one if you can't use it?

Thank you so much.. During my setup I accidentally navigated OUT of the gesture tutorial and I couldn't figure out how to get that info back. I'll probably bring the nav buttons back because A im just used to that and B the buttons seem faster (and easier) to use than the gestures. I will give the gestures a solid week to see if maybe I like it better now that this vid helped me to figure out where the gesture tutorial is.
My husband just got his a week ago and cant hear anyone when they call but we can hear him. Anyone have a fix for this? This video is great though, the hubby is not so tech savvy .
On my new Stylo 6 the keyboard is different than my 4. I like the punctuation when I hold down the keys. How can I change that? Also, there's no predictive text. I was used to the next word popping up. It does not. I like the phone a lot. But the keyboard drives me nuts. I prefer the Stylo 4 style. Can you help?
Awesome video, thank you for uploading it, I just got one and was wondering what the button on the left did, plus what is the reason for the small hole on the bottom and the small piece of wire that comes with the phone do? I loved it when I could transfer my contacts from my old LG phone to this one just by having them both on a wifi connection. This is my first real smarter phone, my last one was a $30 LG (almost) dumb phone but it lasted for almost 3 years with no problems. But it was time for an upgrade and this one sounded best for not a lot of money. I appreciate your video, there was no instruction booklet with the phone, so thank you for your help in understanding it.
The “small piece of wire” that came with the phone is used to open the little drawer on the lower left side of the phone. This is the location of the SIM card and where you insert the optional micro SD card. The little hole on the bottom of the phone that’s between the headset jack & USB port is a microphone. There’s another microphone on the top end of the phone, too.
I miss having the Messaging app from LG. I think it is way better than the google one. The LG app has a counter that can keep a certain minimum amount of messages and you don't have to constantly get rid of them every day.

It takes getting used to and a few tries. I've had the phone a month and the feature is still difficult and takes a couple tries.

This phone is being mailed to me. I was reading some comments. Can you not put apps on the sd card? That's one reason I wanted this phone. It was a specific question I asked.

After watching this, I changed the developer options on my Stylo 4 to .5 . Wow! What a difference! It feels new! We are getting new Stylo 6 phones this week and I will do this to them. I am disappointed that you can't put things on the SD card; what is the point of having one if you can't use it?

Thank you so much.. During my setup I accidentally navigated OUT of the gesture tutorial and I couldn't figure out how to get that info back.
I'll probably bring the nav buttons back because A im just used to that and B the buttons seem faster (and easier) to use than the gestures. I will give the gestures a solid week to see if maybe I like it better now that this vid helped me to figure out where the gesture tutorial is.
My husband just got his a week ago and cant hear anyone when they call but we can hear him. Anyone have a fix for this? This video is great though, the hubby is not so tech savvy .
Whenever I get a new phone, I always unlock the developer settings, and lower the transition speed

On my new Stylo 6 the keyboard is different than my 4. I like the punctuation when I hold down the keys. How can I change that? Also, there's no predictive text. I was used to the next word popping up. It does not. I like the phone a lot. But the keyboard drives me nuts. I prefer the Stylo 4 style. Can you help?

Awesome video, thank you for uploading it, I just got one and was wondering what the button on the left did, plus what is the reason for the small hole on the bottom and the small piece of wire that comes with the phone do? I loved it when I could transfer my contacts from my old LG phone to this one just by having them both on a wifi connection. This is my first real smarter phone, my last one was a $30 LG (almost) dumb phone but it lasted for almost 3 years with no problems. But it was time for an upgrade and this one sounded best for not a lot of money. I appreciate your video, there was no instruction booklet with the phone, so thank you for your help in understanding it.
The “small piece of wire” that came with the phone is used to open the little drawer on the lower left side of the phone. This is the location of the SIM card and where you insert the optional micro SD card. The little hole on the bottom of the phone that’s between the headset jack & USB port is a microphone. There’s another microphone on the top end of the phone, too.

How do you flip camera around while recording video? Does this phone even have that feature...?
I miss having the Messaging app from LG. I think it is way better than the google one. The LG app has a counter that can keep a certain minimum amount of messages and you don't have to constantly get rid of them every day.
Thank you, so helpful. Couldn't figure out how to get home keys back bc swiping was driving me crazy. Has anyone had any problems with using the Quibi app? Tech support couldn't figure out why the screen blacks out.
