Hey there Nasher! I was so excited to see you playing this game, it is one of my favorite video games of all time that I still play to this day. I had a couple of things that I think you should know about the game to help you progress better. 1) Change your difficulty to Superstar. I know you lost the first game, but trust me, you will be 10-1ing some games in the future 2) Offense, Defense, and Agility all have their own individual xp, also you will get more specific attributes to level up once you hit CHL 3) I strongly recommend restarting, and selecting anything but Playmaker. It is the most difficult to level up because you rely on your teammates. 4) Prepare for bad teammates. Like… horrible teammates. Wide-open-net misses, giveaways, etc. 5) When pressing B for a spin move, don’t move your player or you may lose control of the puck 6) Press Z to accelerate (I can’t tell if you are doing this), using C to block shots if very difficult and unreliable, and use the nunchuk joystick to aim your shots. I'm sad bc my favorite hockey team just got knocked out of the playoffs in the first round for the third year in a row. Please don't try and make it a competition of how sad things are for fans, I was just trying to let him know that I appreciate him :)

I played this game as a little kid, and my grandmother has it on her wii. I have gone through multiple seasons of pewee to pro, and I have won many awards as both a goalie and a centerman. Here is a little tip. When you are about to shoot, wiggle the joystick on the nunchuck in the direction you want to shoot to accurately shoot it in that direction (i.e. wiggle it up to the right to shoot at the top right corner, wiggle it down to the left to shoot it to the bottom left corner, ect.).
NHL Slapshot is the greatest game ever made. Also, the Offense Defense and Athletic EXP are all separated so in Peewee you can upgrade all of them after every game. As you move through divisions you can pick specific attributes to upgrade instead of the general categories.
ive never been able to afford any playstation's or Xbox's, so the only hockey game i've ever played is Slapshot. It's so cool to see u playing it now, brings me back.
