Yo Pav, awesome video! What exactly are the rules for floorball shootouts? I keep seeing sick highlights but a lot of the time it looks crazy unfair for goalies. Are you allowed to stop moving, bring the ball back, etc.? Pumped to start getting into this sport more myself!
Hey Nasher - thanks dude. The ball must ALWAYS be in motion and move forwards. Meaning a move like "The Datsyuk" that involves pulling it back, would be illegal in floorball. If you play the ball in the air it must be at knee level or lower. Above knee contact with the ball is a high stick. Skip to 2:38 in this video. As a floorball goalie I hate shootouts. The net is just too big to cover and you can't slide as easily as in hockey. I mean I consider myself as a pretty tall goalie (6'2) but reach feels so tiny when in a shootout

I live in the north, and when I was little, I really wanted to play hockey, namely with a puck with a real stick, ice skates and in the form of hockey. In the 80s, it was difficult to get all this. Now it's easier to go online, make a choice and in a couple of days everything is with you. Why am I doing this? and here's what, if you're talking about hockey, then show it, and everything you do, we did in the 1st grade presenting ourselves as players. And what are you doing, complete nonsense. You can't call it a game, much less hockey.

New penalty rules now, the ball is allowed to go backwards as long as you move forward, also High stick is now at waste level.
