  • Hello everyone! ❤ First of all I want to thank you for coming to our channel and supporting our new Vienna diaries! If you are looking for a beautiful city that offers a lot of things to do and is not over-crowded with tourists, then Vienna is the city for you.
    We're so excited to launch this series in a city we've been living in for the past year! We moved to Vienna from the UK and have been living our European fantasy ever since. And we wanted to share our top recommended places to visit ranging across all districts, from culture, shopping, entertainment, night life and most importantly, food!

      True, also check Mariahilfe Straße for a more causal/ affordable shopping area :)

    There is a "Viennese coffee culture" which includes many different prepared coffee specialities but none of those is named "Viennese coffee"....
    I assume you meant "Wiener Melange" foremost just shortened into just "Melange" which means "mixture" = mixture out of a "Verlängerter" ("Verlängerter" means the coffee (= originally a mocha but nowadays more often an espresso) is prepared with the double amount of water and therefore not that strong = basically the water passage through the coffee powder got "extended" = "to extend" means "verlängern" in German ) + hot milk + milk foam on top served in an avarage coffee cup....which is just one "Viennese coffee speciality" out of many

      Yes, we meant Melange. Really nice coffee, similar to cappuccino but felt stronger and with more fluffy foam. Thank you for the detailed explanation. Cheers!

      In winter yeah, it can get pretty cold 🥶
