Considering you are a Prague guide it is very honest of you to reveal that the authorities appear to enjoy fining tourists and to be aware of things like rip off coffee prices.
If you have plans of visiting Europe. Prague is a DEFINITE! must see. Prague will NOT! disappoint. She is absolutely beautiful. I strongly suggest you visit Karlštejn Castle. It is about 1 and a half hours out of the city. Best to do it as a tour.
Very informative video and definitely a lot of cool things to see. One tip though: maybe blend in the name of places a bit longer. As someone who does not know the language I always had to pause the video in order to get the names down. Sometimes the names vanished in a matter of 2-3 seconds and it was even a hassle to find the right frame to pause. Other than that it was a great video! Thank you!
I have been to Prague over 20 times, as you might guess I love the place! I have been in January, June and October over these trips ! This is a very honest and good review !! Please listen to her !!! 👏👏👏👍
Thank you Valery, Vaclov, and Nico! I think I'd watched every video of yours in Prague before my trip. I felt like I'd already been there when I arrived but spent a lot of time seeing everything with my own eyes. I'm just sad I couldn't meet you guys. Your videos are the best. Really. There's nothing that can compare. Thank you!
Wonderful video! My favorite Czech girls are you Valery and Adela Gondikova. My tips for Prague are Vinohrady Havlickovy sady and eat goulash at Cafe Louvre. Hugs from Sweden Ulf Brodin.
Valerie is adorable. Love her sense of humor,, love that she’s looking out for a budget. Love that she gets just as tired as me. The accent is mesmerizing, charming.
We were really glad to meet you exactly when you were recording this video by Dancing House and taking photos with you for nice memory. Love your videos, watched tons of them in Denver. Thanks for great work!
I recently got back from a Prague Mini-Holiday for 3 days. My itinerary was slightly different, but still incredibly fun. Day 1 A day trip to Plzen. Looking at some historical buildings, and doing a tour of a brewery. Day 2 A hike to Castle Kokorin. A couple hours by train from Prague, this was a beautiful walk that included stunning views, and incredible geological features. Day 3 Church in the morning, and then a guided tour of Prague historical town centre. Just wanted share this, because I had a great time. And others are very welcome to steal my ideas :)
The Nutria bit was hilarious. I first saw one in Versailles. They were not especially tame but I did manage a couple of selfies. I had no clue what they were.
We planed our days in Prague based on your suggestions! At this precise moment we are having a lemonade in one of the islands!!! Thank you for all this good ideas 🎉
Just got back from 3.5 days in Prague. This video is for those who choose to explore on their own. We wanted a guided tour and got the best. Went on three separate 100 Spires walking tours and all were well worth it. Did the introduction to Prague/Old Town with David, excellent. Did Prague Castle with Kuba. Not as good -- the guide was, but it was a Saturday afternoon, hot and crowded. Still, St. Vitus alone was worth it. Also did WWII and Communism tour with Nico. A highly informative tour. Not exactly fun, those aren't fun topics, but extremely informative, local, and important. Highly worth it. We stayed in Lesser Town and enjoyed just walking around it and Old Town. It's hard *not* to enjoy Prague.
Haha! just came home from a 3-day trip and now you are releasing this :-) but having seen most of the mentioned sights, it is very reassuring that we have not missed out too many of them. great video!
Thanks for this video. Wife and I are set to take our first trip to Europe and Prague is our first stop. I expect to be completely lost for the majority of this trip so you may have helped me avoid some of that. I will check out more of your guides.
Thanks for all the useful information! I just visited your lovely city for 3 days. I looked everywhere for you, but, alas, no sight of you. Look forward to viewing more of your videos. 😃
I went to Prague for three days last week... I've been watching your videos for a few weeks to prepare for my trip and now's the time you chose to upload this video 😭 Just kidding of course, thank you for all your advice it really helped :)
Valerie, this was very informative. I watched many of your videos in preparation for our trip to Prague in May. We took the 100 Spires tour with Nico and loved it. I'm glad I found this before our trip.
Just completed most day 2 of this today, we did St Nicholas Church instead of the Gardens and it was amazing. Finishes at the Lennon Wall which is very close to Charles Bridge - Thank you so much it made the Holiday 🙏👏🙏
I'm so happy to have found your channel! My family and I are going to be in Prague this Thursday and will stay until next Monday. I love that Prague has so much to offer because it's always challenging for the three of us to find stuff we ALL like to do. If I'm honest, I think I'd already just be satisfied with a culinary tour and not see anything hahaha. Thanks so much for all the insights! Excited about our trip :)
Good video we had a short trip and followed this itinerary but the castle was closed so we missed it. It’s a beautiful city but we faced discrimination at the airport which coloured our impression of Prague unfortunately.
💚💚. Greetings, my friend! I found this to be so interesting! I was entirely focused on it while watching. Sending a big like your way! Thank you for sharing this!
Hello Valery, Even though it is NOT in Prague, I'm glad that we included the Sedlec Ossuary. EVERYONE would question when they heard I've been to Prague the question is "Have you been to that bone church?" Thanx much for sharing your experience and pointers!
Hello Valery, thanks for all the guides and tips. My wife and I are just concluding a phenomenal 4 days time in Praga. By far the greatest tip of all is the early visits to Charles bride and old town. The weather thank God was also nice. Probably the most economical, friendly and lovely city we visited. I can see why the ton of visitors. Much appreciated your videos.
This is perfect Valery! Dont know if I spelled your name right but thanks for very informative videos! We will stay in Prague (first time) for 3 days and have no idea where to go/which place to visit. You make life easier for no-time-for- itinerary-just-want-a-vacation-from-work people like me.😂 Was thinking of just walking around with no plan at all, but now it has changed. We will do the itinerary on this video. Thank you!😊❤ -fan from Norway
Valery, I absolutely LOVE your style! Such a joy to watch your videos. So much so that when my husband and I come to Prague next May for the Andre Rieu concert, we will most definitely be using your company’s services as it will be our very first time in not just Prague but in Czechia!
@@bwana-ma-coo-bah425 , I really enjoyed it. I had a hotel located in a great location which helped me explore city center as much as I wanted. I was able to take a pub crawl/history tour through TripAdvisor, it was one of the highlights of the trip. The city has a lot of charm, I'm glad I stopped by.
WOW!!!! That was fantastic! The only thing I would add is that if you can find a good tour company, it is usually worth it to spend a few hours on a guided tour when you come to a new city. The problem is finding a good one in some cities. Fortunately in Prague there is 100 Spires City Tours!!!! For long time viewers, many of the sites in this video brought back memories from past great RPG videos. Keep up the good work!!! I is also fun to see Vaclave cameos in your videos.
I LOVE your channel, you seem like such a cool person and do a great job showing the real Prague. I have been to Prague twice now and am bringing a group of 20-30 hockey players back in April. We are staying on Wenclesas Square - I'd love to see a video on the history of that area. Or I'd love to see a history of hockey in the area, since our guests will all be hockey players. Thanks for all you do!

Thanks for all your hard work on these videos, it has made our decision regarding what to see in Prague a thousand times easier!

Hi Villanelle, sorry Valerie! I love your videos and your wonderful sense of humor. You crack me up! It would be amazing if you produced a segment for us who travel with those who are disabled. Prague by Rollator? Keep up the great work!
Love your video. Constructive criticism: can you leave the name of the places/and map shorts for a little longer in the screen? They go by super fast. Thank you!
My wife and I are planning to go to Prague for three days next week. Week 31 of 2024 that is. This was a very good summary of what to visit while we are there. Thanks for that already. I do have one question though, are the people of Prague or/and the Czech Republic dog-friendly people, cause our 2 Border Collie's are coming with us? Thanks on advance for the information.
I'm heading to Prague next week and I'm really struggling to find a good concert with Christmas music. I've been to Prague about 7/8 times but this is my 2nd Christmas. The first time I got tempted in to Salvator church to listen to a classical string quartet concert by a ticket seller outside. I really want to avoid that again. 😉 Any tips?
Excellent video, as always. I realize how much planning and thought must go into these videos, so thank you very much. I cannot wait to go back to Prague.
