Very nice and recognizable insight of Prague. I'm half Czech, half Dutch. My parents met and married in Prague during Prague Spring. I was born in the Netherlands after the WP invasion, but spent many holidays at my grandparents in Prague since I was born. I know the city also very well from the very grey communist times. Hardly any westerners there, almost nothing to buy of any interest and all buildings very grey from polution. After the construction of the metro in the centre things started to change in the city and the big change was of course the velvet revolution. I was a student myself in those days and followed it very closely and emotionally. I still consider Prague proudly as my hometown and gives me goosebumps every time I visit it, sometimes guiding friends who join us. I always thought that the Czech were much more sophisticated than what they got credit for in The Netherlands. It's the arrogance that comes along when having more money. For the Czech, it seemed not uncommon at all to have many kind, well-read, intelligent working class families. what she purpose come czech?
She seems like such a well-rounded person it annoys me.
Durig previous regime Prague was safe, without drogs, crime, ugly graffitti, pocket thievs, migrants of all type, … You could go safely everywhere, walk through parks during night, ..Today, it is dangerous even during the day ! Prague used to be better place for life from the locals point of view!
Prague is not dangerous during the day at all. Not even during the night. I am a local and I do remember what Prague looked like before 1989. I have never felt unsafe in Prague. Not back then, not now. But yes, there are pickpockets and migrants in some areas like the park in front of the main train station.
Memories fade over time, huh? Pollution everywhere, Asanace Žižkova, magistrála skrz centrum města...
Migrants of all type? The only few migrants that are present are Ukrainian, Slovak and Russian. All Slavs, just like Czechs.
@ lndians, Pakistanies, Vietnamies, negroes,..
Olga Hepnarová and STB, super safe 😅😅
All beauty comes from God and Prague was lucky to have many Christians filled with the Holy Spirit.
Actually nearly a majority of Czechs are irreligious however it is true that a lot of the beautiful buildings in Prague are the churches
Yep there is no God behind it, you know people with their hands and machines and knowledge make it happend!
@@pavlinahrebackova3000 Yes, it is a simple self-organization of matter.
@pavlinahrebackova3000 I as a reborn Czech don't like church buildings and neither going there. I believe that together with others I can become living church of Jesus Christ and being it everywhere I go. I'm not a part of any state church that is controlled by a state. I hate it. I believe in the first church that was in the first century living today. Such church was persecuted by a state, and the state one not. Before they were gathering in their homes and like this it is even today. That's just my reaction and point of view.

My worst traveling experiences were in Prague and Bratislava. It was traumatic. I'll never return there, even if they pay me.
good
@@Videoguy789 Typical answer. And it somehow explains our harsh experiences there, involving innocent school-children visiting Czechia for an Erasmus project.
@@tyxeri48 And what exactly happen to you?

When have you been there, in 1995??? As you're talking simple nonsense..

Part of the old Soviet Bloc/Warsaw Pact just a few years ago. I wonder if she'll still enjoy it there after Putin takes over?
Czechia was never part of Soviet Union.

Well it's a part of Nato now...😂
You think Putin will atack NATO/EU country? We (Czech Republic) don´t even have borders with Russia. And how can Putin take NATO is he can´t win in Ukraine?
Prague is good only for parties as whole city is super cheap for us Swedes, I mean extremely cheap, hotels, raves, restaurants everything is basically free. I`ve been in Prague few times, just to party havent seen non from the city as im not interested, but language is kinda annoying to me, czech beer is pretty bad but I prefer Germany as more people speaks English, still kinda cheap and more fun. Berlin is N1 city in central Europe for sure.
You're making Swedes look like people who are interested only in cheap parties. Barbarians 😂
Hopefully, it's just because of your age 😉
bad beer? Don't drink Staropramen then...
its known that Prague is super cheap for westerners. For Czechs? It's ridiculously expensive.
@@lilnunu1553 I also prefer Finland to Sweden as I don’t eat horse meat balls
@@DanielCupakTUR Finland is just one of our collonies so thanks
Imagine how it feels when part of your soul is lost forever. This is how Russia feels when Czech Republic adopted western values.
This part of soul was never Russian😂 Russians occupied Czechoslovakia from 1968 to 1989 and it were the worst years for the nation. Before it was always central European culture with almost no connection to Russia..
cry harder
for sure "sysyphenf8ewtf r", definitely not a russian troll account
