The Kearsarge's ARA won't work with Shinano and Hakuryuu because it needs another EU ship in the main fleet to activate, i think the datamine was wrong but it's corrected now.

as a dataminer, i want to say in-game language might not match how its actually coded hahaha... i still need to go through everything; the wiki will mention any deviations once they are found
the Air Raid Assistance buff from keresage only aplies if the eagle union ship is a main fleet ship, or at least thats what it says in game
I’m already at almost 30% on first combat research for Kearsarge. Which is the most progress I’ve made in one day for any PR ship...
Im 35% on combat data 2 now. Never grinded this hard for a pr shop before either
Really big fan of the "needs to be below X% HP to activate buff" skill type, I was ecstatic when they added this to FdGs skill 3 Fate Sim, because I usually run her in a mob fleet with Unicorn Retro or Perseus.

Jimmy, I have a video idea for you if you have the time for it. My main sub fleet is U-96, U-81, U-37 and the thing is, some tier lists mention the Pressure Hull Design but isn't the Snorkel and Torpedo accessory better?
subs often have trouble being in range of the enemy without pressure hull

Baltimore actually has potential synergy with Kearsarge in an EU fleet due to having an armor break.
Yeah I run her alongside my EU carriers because her buff stacks with ARA, and Kearsarge looks like a real contender for the third slot there. Means I can shelve Potter in favor of... hrm, maybe Aurora? Sirius would also be nice but Kearsarge is awkward in not benefitting from a lot of the buffs that hit other ships.
The gold 406 m6 is a straight upgrade over the purple 406 m6 so any ships using that should upgrade if possible, especially due to the higher coefficient. still inferior to the rainbow 406 mark 7 of course.
Just because it has higher stats doesn't mean it's better you clearly didn't look at the reload time difference between those 2 the gold 406mm has longer reload than the purple 406mm the 9 extra raw damage from the shells isn't worth it for that 6sec extra reload time

She has potentially the highest DPS of all DD and also potentially the most Survival. What more you want Top tier Burst as well? (Shimakaze) please tell me how high are your standards?
@@gagecoalbrace3 i dont know where your getting that from, she just seems to be a average gunboat dd thats more tanky. where do you see this "highest dps of all DD" ? And she cant utilize the SAP gun, which is where her CA bonus dmg skill would benefit most from. i hope im wrong but im not seeing it
@@graham5961 DPS is mix between all damage sources and currently on paper with the new CL gun for her she has higher DPS than SAP DD gun (due to higher modifier and all the bonuses she gets) and she has despite lower torpedo stat bonuses for torpedo as well. yes DD guns fire MUCH faster but with her bonuses the higher modifiers for using her CL gun and the bonus vs CL/CA she does respectable amount of damage.

I'll be honest with the Felix gun, if I'm reading it correctly, isn't much worse than the Plymouth gun making it arguably better for the fact it's cheaper and allows to Plymouth gun to go to another ship that will benefit way more from it

Plymouth is utterly outmatched. These base stats + self buffs, Emden, Bismarck II, shield pen, hunted skill, will send her damage numbers through the roof. It won’t even be close.
Why does it matter that the BBV that doesn't use Torpedoes has a 0 in Torp? It doesn't? Okay, cool.
