I'm from Mumbai and I have been learning kathak from these videos and planning to do the virtual course from your website. I've reached in sync with your videos and I do my Hastak and Tatkaar riyaz regularly. Is it okay if I get myself Ghungroos now, or do I need to wait more? It would be a great help if you answer.
Ma'am is our footwork for every dance of kathak governed by the bol or padhanth or can we independently perform kathak bcoz i have to perform it on school
Pali Chandra ma'am this mean i can yse any hastaks or hand movements in the dance and yeah ma'am does kathak means to replicate the tabla so why we need ta dhin dhin na does it govern the movenents that when we dance we have to carry out a specific movement when a specific bol is said or we can move independently without following bols and replicating the music instruments? Plz clear my doubts ma'am

Aim is to replicate the tabla bols...but yes you can go a bit different but make sure you know what's on..
