This is a very good video, I only had a very vague idea how to test ceramic capacitors before watching it, now it is crystal clear.

A very illustrative video. I have come across a bad capacitor on a PCB and was wondering how to figure out its parameters. I have now learnt that I need to look for a replacement with same size and same colour. Thanks very much, man. Regards from "your neighbour" Spain.

Thank you for the videos and your time to teach. Could you tell me how to replace a ceramic capacitor by size and color or how to find the value of that short-circuited ceramic capacitor without having any information about the electronic circuit?
    Thanks

Good video. But I don’t understand, you use continuity mode and on display you read some value. And this value what is referred to? Thanks

Thank you for your comment. When using continuity mode to test capacitors, the reading you see is actually the resistance value. This resistance briefly rises as the capacitor charges, and then stabilizes or shows "OL" (open loop) once it's fully charged. The value isn't the capacitor’s capacitance but rather an indication of its charging process. If the value doesn't change or remains very low, it could indicate a short or failure in the capacitor. I hope this clears it up! Feel free to reach out with more questions.

Very important for troubleshooting: Inject voltage into the mainboard using the external power supply! How is this done without causing a short circuit? Where exactly must or can you inject the current? And how much?
I mean injecting electricity so that the defective components get hot and you can locate them!
Can you please make a video about it?

When non-polarized caps are grouped in 2 or more, are they considered to be in series? Or, parallel? Thx. Very Good Videos.

Sir , I removed a tiny ceramic capacitor that overheated on the motherboard , when I check it with the multimeter I get no reading at all , no buzz . when I try ohmeter , same thing , nothing displayed on multimeter . could a dead ceramic capacitor not buzzing when, and displays nothing on multimeter screen ?

Why are people narrating these videos in English with an OTT foreign accent? When you could use an AI narrator instead? ERB's accent isn't really bad but he can't say ce-ram-ic.
