A very illustrative video. I have come across a bad capacitor on a PCB and was wondering how to figure out its parameters. I have now learnt that I need to look for a replacement with same size and same colour. Thanks very much, man. Regards from "your neighbour" Spain.
Thanks my teacher , your tutorial are mazing we can learn everything from you about electronics we can repair computers , laptops , tvs , phones and etc . Im an IT student Please and please I want two things only from my teacher 1. How to use jumber wire on repairing phone or any electronic devices 2. I need printer repairing course . Otherwise thanks my teacher again.
Thank you for the videos and your time to teach. Could you tell me how to replace a ceramic capacitor by size and color or how to find the value of that short-circuited ceramic capacitor without having any information about the electronic circuit? Thanks
Thank you for your comment. When using continuity mode to test capacitors, the reading you see is actually the resistance value. This resistance briefly rises as the capacitor charges, and then stabilizes or shows "OL" (open loop) once it's fully charged. The value isn't the capacitor’s capacitance but rather an indication of its charging process. If the value doesn't change or remains very low, it could indicate a short or failure in the capacitor. I hope this clears it up! Feel free to reach out with more questions.
Very important for troubleshooting: Inject voltage into the mainboard using the external power supply! How is this done without causing a short circuit? Where exactly must or can you inject the current? And how much? I mean injecting electricity so that the defective components get hot and you can locate them! Can you please make a video about it?
Sir , I removed a tiny ceramic capacitor that overheated on the motherboard , when I check it with the multimeter I get no reading at all , no buzz . when I try ohmeter , same thing , nothing displayed on multimeter . could a dead ceramic capacitor not buzzing when, and displays nothing on multimeter screen ?
bonjour prof une fois de plus merci pour le cour je voulais demande un cour sur l'utilisation du logiciel Boardview merci j'attend la réponse de votre part
inductor is black capacitor is brown my god man is genius if will be white than what is this ice cream ? 10:15 if capacitor is bad you must replace with the same colour :D im dead
Well, there are some idiots out there that might not know that stuff. Obv, this video is meant for beginners. Did your mom not teach you manners? "If you don't have anything nice to say...."
Why are people narrating these videos in English with an OTT foreign accent? When you could use an AI narrator instead? ERB's accent isn't really bad but he can't say ce-ram-ic.
This is a very good video, I only had a very vague idea how to test ceramic capacitors before watching it, now it is crystal clear.
You are welcome!

And don't forget the course of lvds connector of laptop.continue like this sir you are a good teacher.
Awesome video for learning. Thanks sir -Pakistan
Good video. But I don’t understand, you use continuity mode and on display you read some value. And this value what is referred to? Thanks

Ok Soon
The explanation I was searching for. You've got a new sub here. 👍
Welcome aboard!
When non-polarized caps are grouped in 2 or more, are they considered to be in series? Or, parallel? Thx. Very Good Videos.
Super amazing and easily understood, ride on master
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for being a good technician
Hello, can you make a video about repairing AGP gpu and motherboards?

Thank you! So informative & helpful.
Glad it was helpful!

Hi sir thank you so much for the job.can you put some courses how to repair monitor of desktop pc.
Yes, soon
Thanku sir
what if you dont get a reading when checking the capacitors(open)?
Also good
Thank you for sharing this very helpful video.
You are so welcome!
My best teacher ...thank you very much
You are very welcome
I want you to please explain how to SINGLE OUT a SHORTED capacitor when MANY CAPACITOR BEEP for short, thanks
Noted
switch those probes and if beeping occurs in both positions then its shorted cap
Very very good sir.thanks
So nice of you
Great.
Thank you for your effort...
It's my pleasure
Good.. Go ahead
Thanks
