Yeah the PC version that some legend reverse engineered to create has 60fps, widescreen, full camera control, and any mods and texture packs that you want. All without the audio delay and other issues of this honestly trash port they're selling for a limited time, all because they know it's worthless and Nintendo fans will in desperation buy it no matter how poor the port is. Like it's hilarious that passionate fans out there with no funding, official tools and without the man power of the richest company in Japan can do what Nintendont so infinitely much better all for free.
Mashi654 Keep in mind, the fact that Galaxy is even part of this collection proves that Nintendo found a way to make the Galaxy formula work on the Switch. Besides, you shouldn't forget that A, both Galaxy games made their debut on the same console, and B, New Super Mario Bros proved that Nintendo is willing to reuse old formulas multiple times.
I can watch playthrough of Super Mario 64 over and over again, simply because this game means a lot to me as I spent hours on hours playing it as a young kid.
saying this just to tell people who don't know: after beating the final bowser, the thank you screen cannot be exited. you have to go back to title selection and reload the game. it wont save you beating bowser, it'll just bring you back to the castle.

I'm going to buy a Switch and this game just to play Super Mario 64. I used to play it all the time as a kid, but can't play it anymore bc my sister "borrowed" my Nintendo 64 and hasn't returned it.
When I first beat Bowser in the first battle, I had thrown him through his breathed fired into the spiky bomb, and I naturally thought it was the fire that had defeated him. That recently gave me a cool idea for a Mario-Bowser video I'm working on: Mario dodges Bowser's spat fireballs and knocks him into one of the fires on the ground. But how? Based on statistics and probability, which move would work best: wall jump, side flip, front flip, or back flip? Whatever the move, it's going to be a kick to send Bowser into the fire, either on his side or his shell (unless the shell protects _ALL_ of Bowser from the fire he's in). I guess the front somersault wouldn't work, assuming Bowser would get out of the way in time, having seen Mario's three jumps. Back flip? Maybe not, because Mario couldn't see Bowser very well from his flip and motioned angle, and fail to stomp on him? What do you guys think? Envision the move that would most likely get Bowser into a set fire. Even though it's _MY_ video, I still want to be realistic and logical, even for a cartoon. That's what _I_ want.
Man, i'am the only person in the earth that repair that some tracks/sounds of Mario are different, more acute, i don't now if this is already in the Shindou Version or they remade it. Beacause the Original/American version is not like that... Probably they have put this in thr Shindou Version because the original Japanese version has a lot of tracks/sound remove... @@BrokenG-String Those two things are because the port in this compilation is basically the Shindou version that was released only in Japan (which removed the gay Bowser line due to Bowser being called Koopa in Japan, and fixed all the glitches that make speedruns possible, as Nintendo wants us all to play fair).
hm. Hopefully they re-release this All Stars 3D collection with extras and a graphically remastered version of Super Mario 64 - a game I first played on Christmas 1996. I always wanted to play it with smoother graphics and of course Nintendo remade all the original 3 games with updated graphics for the original Super Mario All Stars collection. Today that would require an obscene amount of effort but is necessary for a game as groundbreaking and universally appreciated and recognized as Super Mario 64. I recall a number of reviewers were surprised at the bare bones features of the All Stars 2 release in comparison to the first compilation which had all sorts of extra stuff. They couldn't even have included ONE popular minigame from the Mario Party series? C'mon man. I hope they re-release All Stars 2 with Super Mario Galaxy 2 and the rest of the updates, I think it's a no brainer, they did it for the All Stars 1 compilation when they re-released it with Super Mario World. And people were less than pleased over the time-limited release of All Stars 2. If they rerelease it, I'll buy a switch.
