Thanks all! For those wondering how Toro is doing now (Nov 2018) The good news is he is still here and had his 10th birthday earlier this year. I may make an update video soon. However he has been suffering with a rare renal condition for the past couple of years not usually found in Cavaliers. He was given 6 months to live, 2 years ago, but thank god is still going strong thanks to a special diet and care. I count every day as a blessing with him and he is attached at my hip 24/7! :) He has been a wonderful companion to me for 10 years. He helped me through my teens with the management of Asperger’s syndrome. I highly recommend this breed to anyone who who suffers with mental health or have children who do.
That's great news I watched your video and then looked at the year it was made. I'm glad you still have your lil companion and Toro is still going strong. I have 2 King Charles Spaniels the same color as Toro and they are my lil loves and partners in crime.
My nephew Mixhael has Asberger's. It was a huge challenge for him in his growing up years. But...now he is doing great. He is working in the Navy...he is a Computer Genius. He loves his job and is presently stationed in Japan. Wow...you are the only other person I now know dealing with this issue. Just know...your life can be great too. I do agree...Cavaliers make excellent support dogs. I suffer with PTSD...my TriColor, Trina, is also attached to my hip. She is 13 years old and suffers with Pancreatitus (digestive disorder). I pray everyday that she will be here by my side until we can get somehow past this Pandemic. By far the best breed in the world. Once you meet one, You will instantly fall in love. These dogs are so beautiful, Loving, and caring. They know when you are sad, And come along to cheer you right up. I absolutely love cavies! (nice song)

My cav is 9 years old, spent $4 grand on her doctor bills, but she has so many health problems that they say she only has a couple months to live. She is my best friend and I can't imagine losing her. Cavaliers are the best dogs ever, they love everyone. Time goes by so fast...
We've had our second for two years now. He's such a cool, smart guy! Absolutely loves playing fetch -- until nap time! He helps me stay centered with all of his love and kisses.
Believe me - you're blessed if you're getting a cavy. Of course, by now you have already been blessed with the baby's arrival in your home. I have a 13 month old. I can't tell you what he means to me and how absolutely adorable he is. Don't know if it's just my baby, but he is extremely smart - almost humanlike with the way he interacts with me. He holds the Guiness Book of World Records for the number of times he's been kissed by me. I can't stop loving on him. CONGRATULATIONS!

With those bright red ears he reminds me of Carrot Top. Cavs are fun as puppies but you have to teach them quickly or bad habits emerge. I have 2 - one is stone deaf (at 5) who is now 8. Hand commands along with FOLLOW THE LEADER (she looks to the other for cues as well) works well. They walk on one interconnected leash. I can't walk them alone or on separate leashes anymore. But they will walk within 5 feet of me. They were so fun as puppies and now they're an old married couple.

I hope they will solve the problems with their hearts, because theworst times with him was hist last year, when he was full of water because of bad function of heart :/ ... he was suffering, but he was strong and even when he was discomforted, he was my best friend ... and is forever ... cavaliers have strange and strong charisma, never forgot ....

This video brings a tear to my eyes! so beautiful! I have 3 Cavs and one of them is very ill and has his MRI scan on saturday to determine whether he has Syringomyelia which is a very common disease with Cavs. Look up the symptoms so you can always be aware! Again, Beautiful video!
