Man I hate to hear this! I’ve been talking up Heartland so much that I had 3 of my friends willing to return to the game to play heartland. Bummed that it was canceled but I guess we will see what in place in the future. Thank you for sharing G and I’ll see you in the next stream!
I wasn't looking forward to heartland. More want div 3 or survival mode would be good. Love your discord community as well one of the best communities if not the best. Helped me get into the other modes I had never played before
sunk a ton of hours into the beta test last summer, was a great looking game and extremely fun, the playable map was one of the best i'd ever seen in a game like this, by far. in hindsight it looks like the dev team's decision (or whoever made it) to go back to the drawing board and practically remake the game was its death kneel, rather than release it a year or two ago. they could have easily released this after the beta last summer (it was completely playable then), then make the changes after the fact (ie D1). it looks like the never-ending quest to perfect the game turned it into a corporate money bleed and ended up killing it. too bad.
I spoke with an anonymous source from Ubisoft. I explained to him that I found it a bit unfair to have a team work for a few years on a good project and then throw it in the trash overnight for a new XDefiant license. I explained to him that there were a lot of rumors on the internet, he told me to be very careful about what people say, you know a lot of people can say that they worked on the project and that's not the case. is not true the best is to wait for the developers to communicate was able to work on the project told me nothing to do with a DLC because the gameplay was different from division 2 the atmosphere was not the same precisely which is a small thing but we could have found a solution I can tell you that it was an almost complete game don't listen too much some tested Alpha not really complete the game should have been released by 2024 in short I told him explained the thing that I don't find normal would have downloaded it because the game is free and as I explained to the anonymous source if it would have been released the division Heartland would surely allow the developer to take a little break of 3 to 4 years and take their time for the division 3 and for other projects too he told me exactly it's a good idea but the problem is that it's not us who decides I can't tell you anything more I asked him is it was it possible that Ubisoft would change its mind he told me yes with Ubisoft you never know answered me I can't tell you anything more he told me you know try to create a poll with several people to take votes
I don't know how to say it but I find it a bit disgusting on the part of Ubisoft to have canceled the free to play division for me if Ubisoft would not have canceled this game for me it's a big mistake on their part for the fans I was very happy to wait for this game I said to myself yes a new the division in another place with some new gameplay mechanics I even said to myself if Ubisoft released this game it also allows the developer to take a little break and working quietly on the division 3 and also working on another project in the end they create something for 10 years and delete it I even think that Call of Duty Warzone must be making fun of them I have a source who tells me Activision said that Ubisoft was very strong in this area of having people work for years on a game and then canceling it and when I asked him the question saying but if the game The Division free free to play would be released today he answered me it would have allowed the developer to work on the division 3 quietly for a few years and also to work on other projects frankly I didn't know what to tell him because I think this person is right imagine the division for 3 years free to play or 4 years a bit like warzone I think that Ubisoft would have made a good turnover for them it's more like we let go of what we created the fans we don't care they will wait the division 3 instead😪💯👍

Once again, ignoring the players sentiments and trying to stubbornly push unwanted nonsense. What a total waste of potential, I saw footage of the last closed test and it looked almost ready to go with fluid gameplay and mechanics, interesting and captivatiny narrative beats... A moment of silence for the poor community managers who are in for a tough 48hrs.
Imo ubisoft like Alot of companies are downsizing and redistribute assets. I'm indifferent on the cancelation of heartland. I'm still hopeful they will give us div3 in a couple of years
I think there are some positives reading through the report. It seems they want to focus on long serving franchises which Divison is included and it mentions a push for their live service games which Division is. So I think there's a lot of positives to take away although the cancellation of Heartland is what first strikes when reading. You can see the new strategy alteady with their plans for The Division 2 and the DLC etc. So I expect a lot more from what games we already have like The Division 2 and any sequals, lile The Division 3.

This was expected, although if they transfer all the content from there to Division 3, it will be much more interesting

I know that tthey say they are putting work into Xdefient and stuff but hopefully they put this into Div3
