How to make Pressed Speaker Grills | Teach It Tuesday

On Todays Epsiode of Teach It Tuesday, Bryan Hale, walks you through the step of creating speaker grills pressed out of a meshed metal material. Custom meshed grills are used when we have a custom piece where using the factory grill or the supplied speaker grill is not an option.
When it is done correctly the appearance will be custom, with a slightly factory appearance.

What’s the best gauge to get to do this? I bought some from mobile solutions and it was super thick and I couldn’t get the details like you did in this video. It’s look ok but not like yours. It didn’t bend and rise like yours did. The mesh I bought is SKU: RM-MESH8 from mobile solutions. PLEASE HELP😂😂😂 I’m pretty sure it’s too thick. I just need to know the right gauge to order.
