in new UEFI laptops it is impossible to install Windows 7 even if you update the BIOS. they are programmed to prevent you from installing Windows 7

Just bought Lenovo ThinkBook 15 G2 ARE, and even after following all the instructions here (except one) still cannot install, still says "not fully ACPI compliant" . My BIOS looks different, new, white, polished, almost like a mini version of an OS (freeDOS...?????) (in comparison to the one from the video which looks like an old version from decade ago), and does not have an option to switch to USB 2.0. I suspect that this is the key option that must be enabled in order to install win 7. At this point, other then learning how to update bios on the machine without an OS, I am not sure what to do... Dont feel like buying another windows..

On my win10 system I just kept pressing F2 to get into setup then I saw on boot sequence I had usb and diskette checked, I unchecked everything except my main drive and it worked.
