Making Jokes and being sarcastic is one thing but making insulting remarks about a movie which for the first time tried to mix our own Culture and sci-fi in a fun way for Kids is just cheap...☹️. For people who don't know :- The story of Spielberg's movie ET, The Extra Terrestrial was written by Satyajit Ray( the Bengali-Indian Winner of Oscar for the movie "Pather Panchali" ) and was stolen by someone very close to Spielberg. This is a true fact . There is a video on it but you need to just Google it . So don't say that the concept of the movie "Koyi Mil Gaya" has been taken from Hollywood Movies or From Spielberg's.
How's that a true fact if there's only speculations of it? Neither of them acknowledged it and it's not "confirmed" by someone either. It's just a "myth" that we like to believe so that we don't feel that Indian Cinema is lower than Hollywood. That being said, Indian Cinema is a gem on it's own.

Ray himself claimed in an interview given to the Bengali Aakashvani in 1989 that ET and Close encounters of third kind were plagiarized from his script that he wrote in 1967 for an unproduced movie called "The Alien" that was in turn based on one of his short stories Bankubabur Bondhu (the friend of Mr Banku) written in 1962.
Ray said that he had even made some concept art for how the alien looked ( he was an excellent artist) and submitted those along with his script to Colombia pictures for approval. Colombia approved it, and made mimeographed copies of the script so that the film may start production. However, after the film was not produced, in 1977 Spielberg made a movie called Close encounters of third kind, in which the story line and the design of the aliens were much alike what Ray drew in his concept art.
Furthermore, the entire story line of ET was found by Ray to be copied from his script. However, he refrained from taking a legal action since he thought "Spielberg is a good director, and is a good storyteller". Ray was approached again by Colombia Pictures to make the movie in 1984, but he though making that movie then would be a waste since people will unnecessarily compare it with ET and Close encounters. So he rejected the offer and continued making movies in his own language.
So a word of advice, please do some research before speaking about Mr Ray.

This movie was A treat for us as 90s kids. And also the alien shown in this movie is very good as compare to other Bollywood movies and also they did that is 2000 so the alien was super cool. YOU SHOULD TRY WATCHING THIS MOVIE. Nostalgic movie😍❤

He points out the negatives and appreciates the positive aspects of any movie in his reviews.
I agree that *"Mission Kashmir"* was an average movie but the cinematography was awesome.
The acting of *Jackie Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta* was very powerful/impactful.
*"Lakshya"* is more than a movie. *"Lakshya"* inspired many young Indians to join the Indian army.
*"Lakshya"* motivated a whole generation.
*"Lakshya"* is one of the most impactful and life changing movies Bollywood has ever produced.
Outstanding performance from *Hrithik Roshan* , absolutely outstanding. The way he portrayed his transformation from an aimless college graduate to an elite army personnel was praiseworthy IMO.

Hrithik's performance, his expressions in *"Agneepath"* was probably one of the best of his career.
The epic clash between *Hrithik* and *Sanjay Dutt*
We don't really get to see equally strong and impactful hero and villain in the same movie.
*"Bahubali"* franchise did that effectively. *"Agneepath"* created that kind of tension between the hero and the villain.
A proper revenge drama movie that had the power to give anyone goosebumps with it's ongoing BGM.
*Sanjay Dutt* as *'Kanchacheena'* and *Rishi Kapoor* as *'Rauf Lala'* were so menacing and evil that both this characters will live on forever in the heart and mind of the audience.
You didn't like these movies and that's fine but many Indians loved these movies and I know *Jaby* and *Achara* will also like these movies. These are not perfect/flawless movies but if we get too critical of every movie like the critics then we'll not enjoy many Bollywood movies because I know that there are many other better movies available there on internet from all over the world.

OM or 🕉️ is a word chanted for meditation because it can generate the vibrations that can be tuned to match the natural frequency of almost anything. If you don't believe then just two people sit and chant OM and try to synchronise your scale. You will feel the vibrations inside your heads. Just rejecting something because of religion is utter nonsense. First try to understand the meaning then make fun of it. I'll make sure to give a thumbs down to the original video.

Yeah. This was one of my favorite movie from childhood. It was an advanced science fiction to me before getting to know much about hollywood films. And they articulated well too in that time. I too didn't seems it like funny. Trolling indian films by indians though there are more other films to troll in bollywood

I agree, he went quite overboard with this one. Neat picking has its own vice. Judging a movie by the context and the era it came in is the proper approach if you call yourself a true cine lover, which Only Desi proclaims. Koi Mil Gaya didn't really warrant some pointless roasting.

Thanks for reacting on " only desi " , it roasts old movies and exposes all the funny things the filmmakers back then in 90's and Achara is right when she explains how kissing scenes were shot by keeping flowers , plants before the actors in Indian films that's funny . The revisits can be enjoyed more if only you have seen the movie earlier . Please do reaction on Only desi's revisit Vivaah film .

It received many awards for best director, best actor, critics best actor, best actress, best film, best special effects and many more.. So i don't think so that it is a STUPID MOVIE..

I think koi mil gaya was a brilliant movie.....and about the letter om , it was not like aliens were understanding it , they were just catching the pattern and responding in same manner . Normal sound wave can't travel in space but maybe it can be possible with letter om because of its vibrational quality . You can really feel it when you meditate saying OM .
