I use wooden beads with a small hole so they don't move..at the back, i tie over hand knot by taking it through the upper part of the owl (with the help of a crocket hook)..so basically the ring is attached to the upper knots at the back side of the owl..and then i cut extra cords and apply glue if needed. You can find them on Amazon..or make 2-3 square knots then add one small bead(12" approx)and make one more square knot ,in place of oval shape bead for the beak of the owl..
If I'm saying 8×3m i.e eight cords of 3 metre each( folded into two equal parts and hung on the dowel as shown in the tutorial) So each cord is measured in metres,only the hanging cord is in centimetres .. Wooden rings diagonal is 4 centimetre Hope it helps😊

@@katjacasar4283 sometimes i stitch them with thread at the bottom..you can stitch the eyes with thread if they are not looking at place..

Here I'm using a total of 10 cords on the dowel..2nd cord and 9th cord are 3.5m,rest 8 cords are 3m long ..hope it helps
