The more I watch your videos, the more I understand that old adage about boxing being a sweet science. I’ve had a heavy bag in my home gym for years and am trying to get better so these videos have been invaluable. I’ll get onto that book too!
3:10 This is one of the principles behind a lot of the Karate and Taekwondo style of punching in kata/poomsae. I also see it in Lomachenko's fighting style.
Your content is awesome! Would you consider adding an inset view from the back as you execute? In some of you other videos, you also give left and right side views. I think having the back view would be a nice addition and helpful imo.
The pro boxers that aren't watching how to box videos on RUclips are the ones I'd worry about. They don't have the hunger to learn as much as possible. They aren't watching multiple styles and going this is how I was taught, I can incorporate that and this is utterly wrong. Watching someone do it wrong makes me take notes on how to do it right sometimes more than seeing it right. Depending on what they are watching it will be exceptionally beneficial. People have made videos explaining joe Lewis, sugar ray Robinson, Pacquiao, Armstrong, pep, randy Turpin, Joe gans, Salvador Sanchez, Charles burley and the list goes on. Sure maybe watching a fundamentals video might be a waste of time. But maybe this person explains in a ten minute video one tiny detail you never knew. Let's say it took 2 hours of watching fundamental videos before you got to this one. Would you say spending 2 hours 10 minutes watching boxing how to videos to find one new thing and reinforcing in your mind for the rest of the time how it should be done would be a waste of time? What about reading a book on boxing? Is that a waste of time? I would say it's the best thing other than watching the best film study. Unless your reading a bad book. Hope this comment inspires someone to train even harder. So one day I can face them in the ring and hit them with a book XD
@@TopfightsG I'll be getting ready for that day. Starting today. You should post a video on your channel explaining the drop step and Dempsey roll. You will look back at it years from now and have a measuring stick on how good you are right now at this moment.
Not really, Canelo jumped up in weight pretty significantly. Probably hadn't been hit that hard in a long time and not used to carrying the extra weight. I find it kind of funny everyone is calling this an upset while Bivol retained his own belt and defended it like a champ usually does.

Yes very good lessons. I like the idea of adding these all together by going slow and steady.
Good fundamentals that make a huge difference

Great job! We have very similar coaching methods. Giant steps are a waste of time. Small steps rule. I will work with my students on these.
As always fantastic information. Also I really need to get one of those footwork mats!
