This is a beautiful bag! I just watched the video tutorial. I also purchased the kit to make this bag in the color Currant for my daughter. @lakesideloops Making this bag for my mother. Very easy instructions - thank you! Currently on round 23 and using weight 5 bulky yarn with a 5mm hook. I didn't use the secondary yarn for the stiffness for the bag, think it will still be okay? Does the total yarn included the secondary yarn as well?
I am having a lot of trouble with the secondary yarn. Is it possible to just use 2 stands together, please?
Helo! I loved the bag design. I live in Brazil and here I can't find the yarn you used, so I'm making it with a Tex 1475 cotton yarn. Because of that I'm having to make some adaptations. I hope the end result is as good as yours!!

Beginner here! I cannot find the Rewind yarn anywhere in the color I want. Would any tape warn work? Also, I'm curious why you carry an extra strand when crocheting?
Not sure if this question has been asked but here it goes. Round 65 I have 156 stitches if I do not sc2tog at the last stitch or should I say when I get to the last set of (sc in next 25 stitches, sc2tog) I end up with only one stitch left if I do the last sc2tog it will go into the first stitch of the next round, causing me to have (155 sc’s) instead of 156sc as per the instructions. I have taken this project apart 2 and every time I get up to the same spot I end up with the same issues. Please advise on what exactly I am doing wrong and/or what I can do to continue without issue. Thank you in advance!

I'm having a lot of difficulty with the traveling yarn...when I try to do my single crochet I end up picking up the extra yarn..can't seem to get comfortable with it.,..any suggestions?

I'm having problem at Round 5. I keep coming up with 29 stitches instead of 30. I have frogged several times n checked count each round. 5 is only round I come up short

To clarify, you're using two strands but one stays in the back? I'm not sure I understand :(
You just crochet over the second strand of yard. It lays straight on top of the row you are crocheting. It’s clumsy at first but becomes second nature after awhile.
what is the purpose of the secondary yarn?
To keep it from being too stretchy.

Why is my bag curling up ?
Help! Im having trouble with Round 8, once I get to 48 stitches, I'm left with 1 stitch before the stitch marker, in other words, if I complete the "Repeat from * until 4 stitches remain,
2 sc in next stitch, sc in last 3 stitches" part, I get 49 stitches. I counted the previous round and everything seemed fine. What could have gone wrong or how do I keep going?

I'm sorry this is not beginners friendly and very misleading. This is like putting a sewing pattern in front of a beginner and say read and figure it out. Very disappointing video and a full tutorial would have been more helpful. When I read tutorial included was the very reason I purchase the Kit.
