What a great project for beginners! The base may be a little tricky - I would have gone over exactly where to place the stitches in more detail. Aside from that this is an amazing tutorial! My bag used less than a skein of yarn. I would love to make this again but scale it up!

Can I use acrylic yarn for this?
Also, tightening the tail would close the small gap in the bottom from the last stitches on the first row.
We can attach the streps with crochet only no need of needle
