the dream was a huge Minecraft server created by dream. It was actually the biggest Minecraft server and blew up so many creators. If you were added into the dream smp, you basically made it as a streamer. The server broke so many streaming records. That’s how influential the dream smp was. The server had streamers such as dream, Tommyinnit, George not found, Karl jacobs, technoblade, quackity, jschatt, Wilbur soot, skeppy, etc. they even had celebs such as mr beast, Ksi, pokimane, corpse husband, ninja, and lil nas x on the server playing with them at one point. That’s how huge the server was. Anyways recently the server closed down due to a variety of reasons such as techno passing and people generally losing interest in the server. Quackity recently announced he was releasing a bilingual Minecraft server called the QSMP. Around the same time, dream announced he was releasing a multilingual Minecraft server called the USMP. The reactions were generally positive, with a few people claiming that dream copied quackity but people critique everything dream does so it’s not uncommon. Now, quackity announced that his server was going multilingual and would have live translation. Around the same time, dream announced the USMP would have live translation. This caused the whole entire drama in the Minecraft community calming who was copying who harassing each others fans and creators sending death threats etc etc. fueling the fire dream posted this long multi page thread on twitter about how quackity throughout the entire situation was basically ignoring everything and everyone surrounding the drama to the point where he basically ghosted dream. This thread caused an even massive outage and to this day quackity never addressed the drama. The thing is, dream and quackity were close friends. So it’s very high possibility that quackity just does not want to be friends with dream anymore.
