This was just their digital single comeback. Their actual full comeback is September 16th. Hit was just kinda like an introduction to a new era of Seventeen. It was to show off what they are best known for, their performance.

I am here for it all!!! Seventeen is greatness! This is my favorite song to date and MV. Our performance line Hoshi, Minghao (The 8), Jun, and Dino freakin killed it. When I saw this video the first time I made the same sound Monroe did when I saw Mingyu 😭❤️. I love you guys so much.

I knew Monroe was going to be shook by Mingyu (because damn who wouldn't be?) and HIT brings sooooo much energy, Zak's "I feel like I just did a line of cocaine." comment was spot on. They will be having a comeback for their 3rd full album called ‘An Ode’ on September 16, with their title track, FEAR. U should definitely check it out once it drops. Until it does, there’s a highlight medley for their album, and two music video teasers out now ;)

and i agree with dizz, the music video had that caution to apreciatte every member, something that's pretty difficult based on previous mvs.
i don't know if you guys realised, but this hard edm concept is new for seveteen, and i think is an estratety to gain attention for the internacional public, witch it happened! the great prove that seventeen can rock any concept, stan the kings!
The one Monroe said looked different is Vernon, he’s actually korean american (seventeen has korean, chinese and american members)....Also you dying over Mingyu lol in this era he is really something 😍 Also I really really love their choreographies, they are super talented and are known as kings of synchronization...not mentioning that they are a pretty much self producing group, so much talent!

if you guys didn’t know, seventeen is a unique group because they write and produce their own songs and also choreograph their dances theirselves. and still they have one of the most hardest dances in kpop
SEVENTEEN is so well-respected in KPOP. The choreography, raps, music they create and have so much influence over is always top notch.
yes it was an apple watch at the end. and yes, svt had the same mv director as nct 127’s superhuman. this was actually a pre-release, a digital single, but their full album called an ode is dropping today.
as a fan of nct and seventeen, i feel like the songs in a way can’t be compared (not the mv since directors are the same so there are obvious similarities). hit was obviously to emphasize and focus on the performance side of seventeen, and superhuman was more of a more melodically focused song, although it definitely had a great choreo to come with it.
hope you guys could react and listen to more seventeen songs that may be more to your taste!
Seungkwan the one Zak said looked like someone has an injured ankle which is why he doesn't sing or dance during most of the song. When he comes on (and you'll notice if you watch the dance practice or a live performance) that the choreo has been simplified especially during the chorus compared to earlier. The reason for this is so they would be standing and not jumping around, this is specifically for Seungkwan because it would look extremely awkward if he was the only one standing (due to his ankle) as they did intense choreography in the chorus. However, once he walks off stage at the next chorus, they go back into the intense choreo.
It honestly warms my heart seeing how much they cared for Seungkwan especially since he would've expressed to them he wanted to perform for this digital release comeback.
I felt the same way as Dizz, at first I didn’t care for hit but I was here for the choreography. Then after a few more times watching the video and listening to the song I’ve grown to love it!!
Idk why, but even though I’ve stanned Seventeen since debut and I’ve stanned bigger groups (NCT, Oh Lawd) they just seemed like a million people in this MV, more than they did in others, like there are sometimes when they straight up don’t look like that many people, but they looked like a fuck ton of people this time and idk why

Hello, This is unrelated to the actual video but I just want to say that I love this channel so much- I dont get how I got so attached to every member when I don't even know you guys personally but I love Riverse so much and I wish all the best for you in the future! I haven't read the comments so I don't know if anyone has said it or not, but this is not their comeback song :) This was a lead up to their comeback that will be on September 16th with the title track called "Fear". Actually the music video director for this MV is the same as for NCT 127's 'Superhuman' so that is also a reason you might have felt they are similar, if you watch *X1's debut MV 'Flash' (they are produce x 101's final group )* there's also some similarities as its the same director once again but all these songs slay in their own kind of way 😄
