I love seeing Woozi get the credit he's due as a dancer. He's so good that Pledis let him decide if he wanted to be on the vocal team or the performance team. And I don't know if y'all noticed, but Hoshi keeps the conductor's baton almost the whole song. He passes it to the members as they need it and then takes it back. He does that whole choreo with it.
Fun fact: Ateez's main choreographers B.B.Trippin' are credited on the Maestro choreo!! 8:45 yes, seungcheol & jeonghan had both returned after hiatus from injury so the team did their best to keep them engaged on the stage but not stress their newly recovered injuries
BIG YES to Seventeen's choreo still being CLEAR on step execution; knowing that they dance as a large group, they're not chaotic. just a FEAST to the eyes
You’re right about the surgeries! Scoups, the leader, was recovering after tearing his ACL. And Jeonghan had surgery on his ankle. Both were still active in the choreo and are fully recovered now!
8:19 I’m glad you mentioned numbers because the choreographer Choi Youngjun has stated that working with large groups is one off his favorite thing to do as a creator. Hopefully he could visit Steezy nd do a breakdown that would be amazing 🙏🙏
What you said at the end about svt choreos being more of a holistic production than a star show really hits the nail on the head for all of their choreos. They always seem to use numbers and formations to represent their songs and create clear pictures in a way that definitely sets them apart from other kpop groups. Thanks as always for the insights, really appreciate you guys for communicating the original moves & styles that kpop choreos take inspo from!
2:13 with Joshua in the middle and the rest at the side is basically a reference to their choreo from home;run which has that exact formation. This song has a reference to past songs, from dance parts to actual instrumentals
im seeing a lot of people asking for you guys to cover more svt choreos, and if you do, please highlight choi youngjun!!! he's been their main choreographer since debut and has worked on almost every single choreo of theirs. he's the leader of team same, and sub-leader of 1million on street man fighter. he also does a lot of girl group choreos, as well as boy groups. he's so prolific in the industry and i think a lot of people don't realize just how influential he is to the industry. his creativity and storytelling is seriously so impressive and id love to see him highlighted even more also, if you guys could please mention the korean choreography copyright association, which is currently fighting for the rights of choreographers in korea, as they currently don't get any revenue from their choreos after selling them to the company, unlike producers who get royalties for songs, that would be a big help to their cause!! ps the dance break was choreographed by jbal, who is a house dancer! other choreographers credited are choi youngjun(obvi), bbtrippin, and bada lee!
The fact that most people won't sing live if they have this kind of full energy choreography but guess what... Seventeen does! Btw I love your honest reaction. It gives us insight more about dancing
@@steezystudiothey always do. Sometimes they do double with their studio version voices as back up, but they always sings live. I watched their concert 2x and their raw live vocals was superb, even with those super tiring choreography :)
The house dance break was epic! What I love is that it’s not just the “dancers” of the group up there. Yes, all 4 members of the performance unit are doing the dance break, but they also have Woozi (vocal unit), and 2 members of the hip hop unit as well owning the steps. Seventeen members are so versatile
"Woozi you different"!!!! Big facts Steezy!!! Seventeen as a group just hits different. How can a group have great individual personalities, great music, and baby the choreo that be eating the industry up!!!!! I just love them!
I would love to see a dancebreak of SEVENTEEN's Falling Flower, Getting closer, 24H and Home;Run. Maybe even a piece from DINO'S Danceology such as Cheating on You.
Also the fact that just needs to be appreciated is that svt even after being almost a veteran group in the industry for 10 years still give u such hard, new and unique performances. Mostly grps after a few years relax out cz they've already made a solid fanbase but not svt. Only seen them perform with the same enthusiasm as they were rookies
@@hudafatima2564 Seventeen proved that they work hard and even harder to bring more cool and amazing performances. I loved how they still passionate to performing, and keep the same energy and enthusiast as they first perform.

I would love to see your take on "Fallin' Flower" and "24H" (twenty-four hours stylized). Also "Hit" as someone else mentioned. Thanks for your breakdown and reaction guys! It's always appreciated. EDIT: I would also LOVE to see a breakdown of Seventeen's performance unit. Within Seventeen's performance unit, there are four members. Hoshi (the leader), Dino, The8, and Jun. Two tracks which would be amazing in a double feature (wink) would be Spell and Lilili Yabbay. I need those two track specifically for my wellbeing.

8:52 You are correct. S.Coups and Jeonghan were injured before and went into hiatus, this is their first comeback after that. And I love how you guys mentioned that they're like conductors. In fact, If you look at where Jeonghan is at the center before the chorus drop, you can see him conducting Carats (The name of their fans) and S.Coups, who's behind him, is conducting the members because he is the General Leader of the group.
steezy i love your seventeen videos, i would love for you to react to more of their songs and dances: hit, anyone, ready to love, lilili yabbay, adore u, mansae
You're correct, the two guys are the General Leader SCoups and Vice Leader Jeonghan... SCoups had a torn ACL last year, had to undergo knee surgery ; Jeonghan had ankle surgery... So they, especially SCoups, have limited movements... He's trying hard to recover fully, but you know how ligament injury affects a person's movements...
Conductor here! They’re doing the correct beat patterns for the most part which is very awesome. And lots of music terms in the lyrics too (woozi is see you).
"I don't know the genre of this song" "It doesn't matter" HAHAHHAHA all this while vibing to the song😭😭 Thank you for this Just quick facts too 1. Yes there are 13 members (all in black clothes) and they really do know how to make the numbers work 2. YES 2 of the members, Seungcheol (binnie) and Jeonghan (Long hair) had an injury prior to this comeback so it was awesome seeing them again performing
Loved the level of analysis the guys gave for this video with naming specific dance moves, replaying moments and even explaining how to use your lower body muscles to give more power. Really interesting to a non-dancer! Thanks
What makes me happy about this is SVT makes us prouds by they being noticed by professionals: dancers, choreographers, sing teachers, instrumental orchestras , and others parts of proffesionals exists in the world. When they amazes with the detail Svt put, I'm like a proud mom. Yes that my babies 😂 not technically babies, like baby, babe.. ok enough.
I think the different genres in the song is kinda the point of the song. Because there're parts in the song where they said "follow the maestro lead" "mix and match is my specialty" "combine anything is possible". Basically saying that they're the maestro, anything is possible
I'm loving this ❤❤❤ Yes, both SCoups and Jeonghan had recently had surgeries and they still made them part of the choreo which was sweet. This Carat is glad she watched this reaction 🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for reacting again to Seventeen 💎🌸 I think a choreo where they put their number into good use is My My! They can do a lot of storytelling and imagery because they're so many hahaha
If it's My My, they definitely need to check out the MV first, then the choreography! It's just amazing how they portrayed scenes from the MV through dance.
This is great, thank you for highlighting the key points that usually appear in seventeen's works.. Which are they utilize their numbers really well to create a harmonious performance.. Also the comment about incorporating members who are still recovering into the performance was definitely appreciated ❤
One of the first things i kept saying about seventeen since their debut was the part that everyone was always doing something in the back not part of the main choreo. especially in their early songs like , aju nice, pretty u, adore u and mansae
The HARDEST Choreography might be 'Getting Closer' it's like they will join a dance battle competition 😂 Many SVT choreography shouldn't be missed out. One of my fav is Fallin' Flower, the most aesthetic MV & Choreo ever from them
I’d say the hardest is HIT since the members even said that. Which is why when they gave a hard choreo to trainees in I-land, the show, to trainees like Niki, they gave HIT and for expressive dance, they gave PRETTY U. The performance team visited and judged it, and they said HIT is their hardest choreo. Getting closer is definitely up there tho because of the energy and wild floor work.
I agree that HIT is also one of their hardest choreo too. Anyway, this is just my personal perspective. Actually, most of their songs show the harder dancing movements btw. 😄 still love to see their dance practice!
9:38 THAT'S WONWOO!!! LET'S GO WONWOO APPRECIATION!! He shined so much in this era. i mean he does in all of them but maestro wonwoo hits a little different. i love it! i'm so glad he noticed wonwoo.

please react to dino's danceology series! he's seventeen's main dancer as well alongside hoshi. both really great dancers with their own distinct styles which is honestly what i really love about them. i recommend watching the cheating on you danceology video dino did with seungkwan :)
Best believed I squealed when I saw that you had done a breakdown of this! In terms of what you guys were saying about Seventeen's comfort and innovativeness with numbers, I really think it's linked to their nickname, "the music theater kids of kpop." Like you said, they're really good at unselfish performances, at prioritizing the production as a whole over any individual. Personally, the only other group that I've seen come close or even surpass their use of numbers is BTS, which is another group that is super focused on overall production value.
Another great Steezy video that leaves me smarter about dance than I was before I watched it. 😄 Would love to see you react to the "24H" dance practice. ❤
Thank you for this maestro choreo breakdown. You're right, such a wild dance and choreo. And yeah, they really know how to use their number to create a complete and sick dances.
So satisfying to watch this video. Finally people who can appreciate how detailed and clean this choreo is. Hoping to see more Seventeen choreo breakdowns! Maybe Getting Closer or Don't Wanna Cry?
my fav part in the song is wonwoo’s part when he starts off the second verse and the lyrics are “i change up the rhythm” bc that’s when the song’s rhythm completely changes
In the translation of this song lyrics, we can read that they don't care to label the genre of their music: "(...) It's a little unconventional, but bang the drum and bounce the string (...) Doesn't matter either classic or new thang We take pride in our new combinations From the beat to the melody Mix and match, it's our thing Crazy is the new normal Because we change the world (...)"
I've been checking my RUclips every hour for this video 😂 Thank you so much for reacting to it. P.S. I've not even watched it yet, I just wanted to say this first 😅
I'm on my hands and knees begging for a breakdown of Performance Unit's Moonwalker and Wave from their FTS concert, I Don't Understand But I Love You or Spell! 😭😭😭
so about the gendre of the song, this was their title track for their anthology album and woozi actually used 7 semples from past title tracks including their debut song. they are known for having a diverse discografy and they did a lot of gendres over the years so this is why this song has a lot of switch ups. the lyrics are about music and use words that discribe a type of rithm (accelerando, crescendo) or a piece(sonata). the concept was human vs AI and the mv shows how with everything AI can do, at the end of the day it doesnt come close to the human artistry. woozi also said it feels like a testament of their 10 years of work in the industry. and yes, hoshi has that baton throughout the whole choreo and only passes it once to the8. i suggest you do a deep dive into their choreography videos cause there are a looot but some of them that are a MUST are fallin flower, 24h, hit, getting closer, fear, homerun, dont wanna cry, thanks, rock with you, ready to love and anyone. also credits to their choreographer that has been there since debut, choi youngjun cause togheter they really know how to use everyone regardless of any injury and create such interesting formations.
I’m obsessed with this series. I’d love to hear your thoughts on Stray Kids’ “JJAM”! Especially curious to see what you would say about DanceRacha (Lee Know, Hyunjin, Felix) and their individual styles
Woozi and vernon were nearly part of the performance team. And as much as they are in their specific team, they all can pretty much do everything which is why their so versatile and able to do big performances.
Woohooooo another great Seventeen choreo breakdown, I really love it! It was so great to see your house expert friend give us some names of movement we can look at elsewhere and see where this choreo is getting it's inspiration from that is really really awesome. I see a lot of comments asking for a Choi Youngjun focus and or visit that would be really amazing to see as well!
I have a suggestion on the next Kpop song you should watch because the choreography is insane. It’s called Witch by xikers; basically they’re the younger brother of Ateez and their choreography in this song is out of this world.
i agree when you said seventeen plays with the numbers here. there're multiple choreographies by them such home;run and god of music where you can't focus on just one group of them because so many things are going on at the same time! thank you for this video! appreciate a lot! ❤
I really appreaciate all the love and effort both in the dance explanations and the video editing!! it's so fun to watch and to learn more, I think it's clear as water how much you guys love dancing and performing

“Woozi u different” is right 💅🏼
maestro mentioned !! thanks for the objective views on the cheoreo vid
you should definitely react to "don't wanna cry", it's one of their best choreography
my fav part in the song is wonwoo’s part when he starts off the second verse and the lyrics are “i change up the rhythm” bc that’s when the song’s rhythm completely changes
I got goosebumps when you mentioned the two members (scoups and jeonghan) just had surgery, because it is right!!
Yo thy are the perfect exmple for synchronization
Really love when u guys react to seventeen, loved this
Seventeen was one of the group who does sing live always
yall need to watch ready to love, dont wanna cry, crazy in love!!! and more hehe but a breakdown of those would make my dayyyy
8:45 yes both of the members had surgery a few months ago.
In the translation of this song lyrics, we can read that they don't care to label the genre of their music:
"(...)
It's a little unconventional, but bang the drum and bounce the string
(...)
Doesn't matter either classic or new thang
We take pride in our new combinations
From the beat to the melody
Mix and match, it's our thing
Crazy is the new normal
Because we change the world
(...)"
Well this fills in even more gaps for us!! Thank you!! ❤️❤️
definitely do more of their dance practices! also yáll should check out inside seventeen, its like their learning process of the choreos
MORE THE SEVENTEEN PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
I feel like you guys should react to every single seventeen dance choreographies and their special performances dance breaks! its gonna be awesome
I need a breakdown of the fallin flower choreo for my mental well being
I've been checking my RUclips every hour for this video 😂
Thank you so much for reacting to it.
P.S. I've not even watched it yet, I just wanted to say this first 😅
Nah bcus scoups harlem shake as he raps "DaDaRaDa" 🫠🫠🫠😮💨😮💨✨✨✨✨ best part to me 1:48
I'm on my hands and knees begging for a breakdown of Performance Unit's Moonwalker and Wave from their FTS concert, I Don't Understand But I Love You or Spell! 😭😭😭
so about the gendre of the song, this was their title track for their anthology album and woozi actually used 7 semples from past title tracks including their debut song. they are known for having a diverse discografy and they did a lot of gendres over the years so this is why this song has a lot of switch ups. the lyrics are about music and use words that discribe a type of rithm (accelerando, crescendo) or a piece(sonata). the concept was human vs AI and the mv shows how with everything AI can do, at the end of the day it doesnt come close to the human artistry. woozi also said it feels like a testament of their 10 years of work in the industry. and yes, hoshi has that baton throughout the whole choreo and only passes it once to the8.
i suggest you do a deep dive into their choreography videos cause there are a looot but some of them that are a MUST are fallin flower, 24h, hit, getting closer, fear, homerun, dont wanna cry, thanks, rock with you, ready to love and anyone. also credits to their choreographer that has been there since debut, choi youngjun cause togheter they really know how to use everyone regardless of any injury and create such interesting formations.
Wow, thanks for the detailed breakdown! SVT’s artistry is truly unmatched, and Woozi’s genius shines through every track. ✨
Please do seventeen dont wanna cry please
yes, the two that conducting the back up dancers was actually injured. the one with a cap has ACL INJURY while the other one has a ankle injury.
Versatility goals! They’re like dance chameleons!
4:00 I scrunch my face when i'm happy - Vernon 2022
Thank you sm Alec for shouting out our leader S.Coups and unofficial co-leader Jeonghan!!! This was truly the best time!
Woohooooo another great Seventeen choreo breakdown, I really love it! It was so great to see your house expert friend give us some names of movement we can look at elsewhere and see where this choreo is getting it's inspiration from that is really really awesome. I see a lot of comments asking for a Choi Youngjun focus and or visit that would be really amazing to see as well!
dude seeing Xikers Red Sun or Witch dancer breakdown would be so slay
oh you would love Spell or dont wanna cry, the performance unit have like a million amazing dances
I have a suggestion on the next Kpop song you should watch because the choreography is insane. It’s called Witch by xikers; basically they’re the younger brother of Ateez and their choreography in this song is out of this world.
Brought the Heat Back by Enhypen and ATE THAT by Young Posse (especially enhypen tho) would be really cool to see breakdowns of!!
i agree when you said seventeen plays with the numbers here. there're multiple choreographies by them such home;run and god of music where you can't focus on just one group of them because so many things are going on at the same time!
thank you for this video! appreciate a lot! ❤
Seventeen’s choreo is like a dance puzzle-always so much to discover! Glad you enjoyed the video!
I need a svt rock with you breakdown!
wow. just wow. please do more Seventeen. please.
I really appreaciate all the love and effort both in the dance explanations and the video editing!! it's so fun to watch and to learn more, I think it's clear as water how much you guys love dancing and performing
We’re thrilled you’re having as much fun watching as we are creating! 💃🎥
Thankyou, the timing is soo perfect❤
Omg I love the dancer reacts!! Please do one for nowadays, boynextdoor, and enhypen! 👏🏼
Oh my GOSH!! I squealed when I saw the thumbnail!! I enjoy your dance breakdowns so much! Thank you, Clay and Alec, for this breakdown of Maestro. SEVENTEEN is really a whole package, aren’t they?
Wow. Imma watch this again. Cheers to more dance breakdowns! Especially Seventeen! 😉
