Those are fake rumors that have been running through the internet since the movie was released, nobody related to Orphan has never said nothing about a second movie, the story was finished, Esther is dead. Please, don't believe rumors if they were not confirmed by the official Orphan team.
Yeah, there's an alternative ending. They made it to leave the doors open to a "possible" sequel and to let the audience choose the one they like the most, but then the director realized that a sequel ws a bad idea that could screw up the whole movie, so they finished the story.
