- Orphan: First Kill DIDN'T disappoint, as we all already knew!! After watching it 12 times already my JAW is STILL ON THE FLOOR. I was expecting anything BUT THIS!! I love how they made this movie from Leena's point of view, showing her human, soft, and vulnerable side. In Orphan we fear for the family. In Orphan: First Kill we fear for Esther. And it's true that "It's not Esther the one we should fear..."
We the Orphan fans NEEDED this. It's not what we were expecting, but it is in fact what we all needed to see.
This song looks like was straight up written for Esther, specially in First Kill. It's a fight between the dark side of her, and her soft, vulnerable, and human side. Allen made her wanna change, and I showed the entire movie reflected as what Leena feels along with the song lyrics. She deserved so, so much better. And I haven't recovered from the heart ache from First Kill.

@@xxhorroreditsxx1024 Exactly. This is what they show in this movie, her human side, and the reason to why she does what she does. If you notice what the doctor said about her in the Saarne, was that normally she'd just rob the families and then disappear. She fell for the fathers, specially Allen, he was so much like her. It breaks my heart to see her struggling in this movie. You really fear for her, and she was really vulnerable. She deserved so much better, and I'm happy that at least she got some love and understanding from Allen, even if it was just for a short time... When he called her a 'monster'... That hurt me as much as her. She lost what she thought she had. 💔
@@AlwaysOrphan yes her relationship with Allen in first kill was so much stronger and felt like she was genuinely experiencing feeling loved, and found it so sad how he called her a monster as well 💜
@@xxhorroreditsxx1024 They both had the strongest bond. It's heartbreaking how it ended... Allen had such a soft heart for her, and Leena was so soft in this movie. Brent, the director literally said that First Kill "has a really big heart for her." He wasn't wrong at all. And how she got friends with the rat! ❤️😭
