It was actually pretty enjoyable. And it was implied at the end that Cyborg jumped ship to the Titans (hence Cyborg saying "This is awkward" when the Titans were talking to the Justice League). Also, Starfire & Nightwing are dating, as teased in the other films.
No he still a leaguer. He even told beastboy and bluebeetle " ounce your in the magors, well you know what I mean". He's in the league in the death of superman man
I honestly have no idea what DC was thinking with that Titans transformation scene, did the entire studio just get drunk one and when they told the editor to get rid of the scene he was just like, "eh, I'll get it later"
When I saw Starfire transforming, I paused the movie and said, "When did this become an *anime*?!" And were the sparkles really necessary? I feel it would be less weird and random if they did not include sparkles and a blank background, but rather showed them still in the actually scene and not posing as they transformed...
I wish DC based the Titan movies more directly to the source material, like what they're doing with the Killing Joke movie and what had been done with under the Red Hood.
I tired of freakin Damian being the main character in these movies. He's always in the center of the plot, he always has the strongest plot armor in history and he screws over night wing as a second rate batman and rarely of use, and SICK OF IT!!!!
Totally agreed with your review! And the questions!!!! Why did Starfire and Nightwing act so strange? Whyyyy did Raven fall for Robin?! And I feel Star watched a lot of sailor moon with Beast Boy and the Blue Beetle, lol.
To be honest, I don't mind the "Raven-Damian" thing they're looking forward to do. I really enjoyed this film, Superman wasn't as bad as he usually is in the DCAMUs and Raven - one of my favorites heroes - was actually pictured well, and I liked how they developed her. I like the fact that Damian is actually developing - as you said "human emotions" and how he's getting better at... socializing? By the way, nice video, very funny, too!
I absolutely hated the damian x raven thing that was going on in this movie when I first watched it, its grown on me a little bit but overall I still don't like it. The guy literally just joined the team and the scene after raven tells him to "leave her the hell alone" they go to a carnaval and "fall" for each other? thats waaay too forced and I hope they just end up as friends because to me that pairing just doesn't work!! but that being said I did love raven in this movie from her backstory to redesign and even her voice actor. She made this movie enjoyable but her potential pairing with damian almost had me yelling at the screen and I agree they definitely messed up blue beatle and beastboy (especially beastboy!) hopefully the next movie develops them more as characters (maybe even get a little beastboy, raven, terra love triangle) with the judas contract
+Farhan Siraj Great thoughts. But DC doesn't develop Characters in the next movies. Look at Grayson. He's been in 4 other Films and nothing. Damian, got a little in Bad Blood. Yeah I'm surprised that Beast boy and Raven didn't end up a thing in this movie. I believed those two more than Damian and Raven. Also, at least Beast Boy isn't red like in the New 52. Damian is getting severely overpowered especially when Raven is gonna be his GF in this universe. Also, your use of Guile's theme is just as fantastic as your last review. Also, after slogging through Digimon Frontier and Izumi/Zoe's panty shots I hated Starfire's obligatory transformation sequence.

How can you fight all those guys with a skirt that looks like it could tear apart at any time? And what was with that leotard?! It looked like it was giving her a wedgie constantly! I will say, however, that I loved how tall and muscley she was! She looked like a bad ass!In an unrelated note, can the writers please stop trying to make ClarkXDiana happen! Its not happening! It never was and never will!
I didn't like this movie. I agree that the cast is far more likeable than the New 52 Justice League and Batman films, but that's not exactly hard. I don't like Damien taking so much of the focus, it feels like every new movie is just a way to make it more and more about Batman and Damien, and now it's in the super group films. I'd have much prefered this if it was just a straight adaption of the original storyline, with that cast of Titans and the insane visuals that went along with it.
This show was just like the 2003 Teen titans three part episode called "The end." However, not as good since the original was way better! In the 2003 they fight their evil clones instead of part of the JL.
It's funny how prominently Nightwing is shown in the marketing, but he plays a very minor role in the movie. He's basically included in the group pics for nostalgia
loved it! raven was so good i like how OP she was and everyone just kinda had too sit back and let her handle trigon it really shows her power and potential too the league
"And Damian is like: Meh." or "Robin is just like: Pfffft I don't need to do that I'll just grab my sword- HEY! Who would locked this dumpy car?! You know what? Screw it!" Me: *rolling on the floor laughing like there's no tomorrow*
This Damien thing is seriously nepotism of the highest order.. Honestly, his role is reminding me of what Will Smith did for his son, Jaden. If a character can't hold a movie, then they shouldn't weaken the generally far more interesting characters just to make them look better by comparison.. it's also kind of well, bizarre that they de-aged Raven, just so he could have a token girlfriend.. /rant over To be fair, I watched the Teen Titans show as a kid, and I actually started to enjoy it; especially the scenes of Slade and Robin. Interestingly, my favorite part was the arc with Terra, but I had no idea that it corresponded to the Judas Contract (or what that even was) Probably could be decent movie, but I'll likely check out the next one if it's good. I will definitely check out that Justice League animated film, though. I really miss Timm and Dini's animated universe. Well put together review, by the way. :)
In all fairness, Raven has been reborn a few times, and not always at the same age. One thing that didn't make sense is why the hell Jaime was here. He's in Tim Drake's generation of the Titans.
I've been waiting for Judas Contract ever since they announced this video line. Marv Wolfman wrote a script, and then it got shelved. I love Raven and Jerry is my favorite Clark, so I'm glad they were served well. I think Nightwing is currently dating Babs in this universe. At least, I seem to remember him breaking a date with her over the phone in a Batman film. Damien is being used as an insert character for the young boys in the audience, so that's why he got upgraded. Its sort of like Batgod. The voice actor plays him well. Its just that Damien can come across as an entitled egomaniac because...he is one. Still, the performance is true to the concept. Here's hoping we finally get Judas Contract!
I think the most egregious example of Damien being invisible not any of the his fights, but actually that nonsense scene with Damien beating Beast Boy in that DDR game. "I'm a quick study," come on. They set up this random talent that Beast Boy has and Damien becomes better than him at it in a few minutes. This virtually means that Damien can and will be better than any normal human and anything and everything that they could possibly do. He's a highly skilled fighter that been trained at birthday. Okay fine. But did he really have to be better than Beast Boy at DDR? Why was that scene even there? To show us how great Damien is, how good he is at everything? I think Damien is fine, but his character flaw is far too one dimensional, leaving him no room for growth. Because if he stop being petulant, arrogant, or an asshole, then he would cease to have any flaws at all. He'd be more perfect and more OP then Superman. That doesn't make him an interesting character. Makes me really miss the Teen Titans animated show. *sigh*
Seriously those type of games is easy. You don't need expertise people for it. If you have quick reaction time then you can easily play that game and I think the scene was in there to show that the Titans are not just about fighting and stuffs and that they can bond and do things that normal teenagers do
+kwingsletsplays Actually, CN revamped some of the older episodes. (Mainly because one episode of TTG was just dubbing over an episode of Teen Titans... :/)
kwing you should do movie reviews of justice league war, justice league throne of Atlantis, teen titans the Judas contract, batman under the red hood, and other good/amazing dc movies.
It's so confusing :( Where's Tim Drake in this time line? Does this Kori know Red Hood and Arsenal? And where is Kid Flash or Impulse? I really miss the YJ take on the Titans.
Hey! I was doing something way more important! Poker night with Jason and Tim! It’s so funny when Jason looses! We also like to invite Kyle Rener and Donna Troy!
15:58 (I'm sorry but I have to do this.) fighting evil by moon light, winning love by day light, never running from a real fight! She is the one called sailor moon!
It was.....okay. I was really disappointed that it was the whole "justice league vs. teen titans" A) didn't involve Nightwing, B) didn't involve most of the Justice League, just 3 members and C) lasted less time then it took to pop the popcorn in the microwave. Also, mind control. Well, I've only seen that a few dozen times. Here, I was hoping for some really engrossing, Marvel Civil War like "We're good friends, we've had each others backs but I can't follow you in this" type scenario but nope, mind control. I gave it a 3/10. I may have to bump that up to 4 cuz it's not horrible but....yeah. I don't think I'll be rewatching this.
Disagree. I enjoyed Marvel's Civil War immensely. Although it did really make Iron Man almost into a villain. He (spoiler alert) sent a nanite controlled Green Goblin (Norman Osbourne) into Atlantis (yes, Marvel has one too) to kill a bunch of the locals so that the heroes could potentially have something that they would need to come together again and put aside their differences at least temporarily to counter? That's downright cold.
Literally the only thing I don't like is the side-lining of Nightwing, the COMPLETE ABSENCE of Tim and then there's the obvious Superman/Wonderwoman. Other than that, solid 9/10 for me. I really enjoyed it and I'd recommend it to anyone. ^-^
Honestly thought this movie was shit. Raven was pretty much the only redeemable quality to it and everything else failed hard af for me, especially the pushing of Damien and Raven pairing. Even the fight scenes could have been more entertaining as they too fell flat.
They *need* to have Kid Flash in the next Teen Titans movie. If they do make one, of course. (I hope they do) Maybe Batgirl, too. If I remember correctly, they teased her at the end of Bad Blood. I would also like Cyborg to get a new costume with more blue on it, and maybe some white :D
I am just here to say something for the people that are saying Raven is bigger than Damian: She is 14, he is 14, I asked James Tucker on Twitter, have a good day
I'm going to admit that I can understand why Starfire and I'm guessing Raven get the magical girl-esque transformation but I don't think Blue Beetle and Beast Boy need the magical girl transformation sequence. Also Batman: The Killing Joke getting an R-rating again to quote Cooler from DBZ: Cooler's Return Abridged "Someone pick up the phone CAUSE I CALLED IT!!!!!!" I knew as soon as I read there was going to be a film adaptation of The Killing Joke it was going to be rated R.
Kwing you really made some intersting points, that transformation sequence was TOTALLY unnecessary, I was smh when I saw that and plus I agree with you that Nightwing should've had a lot more time in this movie and Damian is kinda growing, just a little bit, DC needs better animated films cuz a lot of other characters need some time to shine
Oh, boy... that clickbaity front cover. A title that just inaccurately describes a minor throwaway scene in the film, the Justice League being prominently displayed on top when they are pretty much minor characters, and Cyborg being presented front and center when he's not even a Titan, but rather hangs out in the Batcave all day and eats pizza. Probably should've mentioned the fact that Robin fights Ra's al Ghul's ghost in Hell towards the end of the film. That was rad.
Batman Bad Blood was that bad good to know. I might watch this movie then.Raven, and Beast Boy are younger than Starfire, Nightwing and Cyborg wow! Star and Night might/not might be together interesting. I hope if there is a sequel Beast Boy Nightwing, Starfire, Cyborg, and Raven battle Terra and Deathstroke aka Slade. What is Terra's origin was she misguided or brainwashed by Slade? Fantastic Justice League vs Titan Teens review video.
Marv Wolfman intended Terra to be a straight villain. Deathstroke himself even said she was nuts before he ever met her. Terra even pretty much blew her cover and attempted to kill Beast Boy during training, but played it off.
Quite liked this one, actually, my favourite of the New 52 Animated Movies. You know what I liked better, though? That Dark Knight Returns music in the background.
I gotta admit, I actually liked this movie. There are problems, sure, but nothing huge. It didn't really piss me off in any way, which all the other New 52 movies have all managed to do in some way or another. And what's really cool is that, by adding Jaime, there's an opportunity to have a Teen Titans movie where they take on the Reach. Hell, here's an idea: Do that next, have Terra be a part of the team in that movie, and do the slow burn toward Judas Contract by having her developed as a character before doing the heel reveal.
I liked most of this movie, I really didn't like the voice actress for raven, would've definitely preferred to have tera strong back. The carnival scene was super lame, it felt like they were trying to recreate the terra/beast boy scene from the original teen titans show but decided to make it lifeless and shitty. Also the animation felt weirdly static in a lot of scenes. But overall the action was good and I really enjoyed it once it got going. I guess I really liked having something to fill my Teen titans/young justice craving. That post credit scene with terra gave me chills, loved it. There was a couple references to the original teen titans show that I noticed: Robin and blue beetle did a sonic boom(cyborg's sonic cannon and explosive batarang), Robin explains what cotton candy tastes like at the carnival (like starfire does) and cyborg brought pizza (like they have all the time in titans tower) did anyone else notice those? I really miss teen titans and would love if this movie took more inspiration tonally from it.
the movie was actually pretty cool, except for some parts when I didn't know if they were making a parody or trying to be creative, like magical girl Starfire and kamen rider blue beetle. still, I would love to have a riff track with your comments to rewatch the movie
I share most of your views; I thought it was okay. Since Raven is my absolute favorite DC character, I was glad that her character and her backstory were handled with respect (and while Tara Strong will always be Raven to me, Taissa Farmiga gave a performance that I thought did the character justice); just wish they put the same amount of respect into BB and Jaime. Still prefer my Titans pre-New 52 but I was glad that I saw this movie overall. On a side note, I think what they were trying to do with the whole Starfire Sailor Moon transformation was something along the lines of "eh, the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon had anime references so let's throw one in this movie". Still made me cringe though.
Ok now I kinda wanna see a nightwing only movie or short detailing what he's doing all this time. For all we know he could be watching them the whole time and kicking it with popcorn or saving the world.
+Shashank Gupta He's working out and watching TV I guess. Or He's Pre Flashpoint Grayson and has Wally drop him off on this world. While the other Grayson is gone after Forever Evil. You never know. But i'm sure Cold Cereal is involved.
Apart from Beast Boy laughing at Damien in slow-mo & turning to a jackass after talking to Cyborg the first time ever in this movie in my opinion the best part of this movie was my confusion between who was the women Clark Kent was walking with. To be honest I thought Clark Kent was walking with Lois Lane seeing the glasses she was wearing but than again I thought maybe that was D... and than she took off her glasses and I was like what is the deal with glasses hiding people identity(WTF!). So when I was thinking that could be Diana, Clark Kent: "Ah! Get Away From Me!," this had me laughing cause I thought Lois had the farm boy whip in never seeing that women when he ran from the amazon after seeing a hallucinating image. Seeing this Universe might be similar to the game Injustice seeing Cyborg coming out of a portal that looks like war going on in the background I thought maybe this was Diana x Clark minus Lois death from Joker.
I just saw the movie and hated it. I had high expectations, and it failed. I screamed at the carnival scene, and the Robin x Raven thing. They should have explained it a little better, but no... It's DC and they don't care what we think. I really liked Trigon and Raven however
I agree that Nightwing should've had a better role than just being the bus boy. I thought the Titans, while it was a team, were exactly acting like the Xmen and I thought that was stupid. Um, Beast Boy was not a good character at all, beetle was ok but still needs work. And bestie bro was stupid. Damian and Raven, I kinda like it, because Damian is acting like a ferocious batman and raven is a shy girl. Now I didn't like about Robin's remaining loyalty to Ras' because that was stupid. Talia didn't care about Damian from batman terrible blood. And apples don't go far from the trees. I did like the movie, there was something about it with the plot. I also wish Batman would talk to Damian at the end saying he's proud of him or something like that. I can't wait for the second Titans movie.
I like the new 52 animated justice league movies over the batman ones but usually the movie released in the year that isn't apart of the shared universe is the best im so excited for the killing joke!
JL vs TT was he first good-ish movie from the Batman animated movies. But during this movie, I kept thinking Teen Titans with their three arc story line and watched that and enjoyed that a lot more then the movie XD
Starfire: Super sailor moon transformation sequence, go
Robin: *piff* screw that
A tip: watch movies at Flixzone. Been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Alvaro Porter definitely, I've been watching on Flixzone for months myself =)
I actually found Damian's "what" a funny trait of him. It wasn't overdone and it got funnier each time.
It was actually pretty enjoyable. And it was implied at the end that Cyborg jumped ship to the Titans (hence Cyborg saying "This is awkward" when the Titans were talking to the Justice League).
Also, Starfire & Nightwing are dating, as teased in the other films.

don't hate me but..... i acutely liked this movie.
I liked to
thanks

It looks like Superman really enjoyed bad blood
I really enjoyed this movie.

I loved it
People should stop hateing on Damien. I loved the Damien and Raven love storyline
I hate Damien Wayne they portray him as equal to Bruce
.-. Damian x Raven...
while beast boy is there--? way to go brat wonder
I love “The Empath and the Assassin” bit. I hit the subscribe button after that. Totally agree with the review, so keep it up man! 👍👌

Anyone prefer Star's original tv show costume to this one
that weird Japanese inspired show? lol no
No.
They are so similar I don't really have a opinion.
no
I do.
I enjoyed this review by far more than the actual movie.
Anyone notice how Jaime says he tried to stop it but when he was going to blast him again, his eyes were normal.
Are you looking forward to the possibility of a Young Justice season 3?

That's the Sailor Moon-est transformation scene I've ever seen! XD
I found this movie quiet the disappointment and Raven's voice actor made it so hard to watch
she was terrible for some reason
+Fundamentalists rDangerous it is
I seriously had to force myself to hear it cus i couldnt stand that disgusting voice
Yeah that's mostly the reason why I didn't care much for her story ark, again.
i loved it,much better then emo tara strong
justice leauge vs teen titans is my second favorite dc animated movie but i thought you made alot of good points my favorite is under thr red hood btw
The whole Damian/Raven relationship in this film just rubs me the wrong way.
What would you rather watch teen titans go?
Daniel Yerkes i lije it
It's funny how prominently Nightwing is shown in the marketing, but he plays a very minor role in the movie. He's basically included in the group pics for nostalgia
yup this movie is the definition of false marketing
Anyone else here a hardcore Starfire X Nightwing shipper? No? Just me? K.
+pooballify In a Universe were Babs doesn't exist..i could ship that.
+kNIGHTWING01 are you and amber planing to have kids
+Jenny Fernandez do it
+Batken pre 52 52 do what
OMFG the music you added during their "hero transformations" made me fucking loose it. I couldn't stop laughing.
loved it! raven was so good i like how OP she was and everyone just kinda had too sit back and let her handle trigon it really shows her power and potential too the league
"And Damian is like: Meh." or "Robin is just like: Pfffft I don't need to do that I'll just grab my sword- HEY! Who would locked this dumpy car?! You know what? Screw it!"
Me: *rolling on the floor laughing like there's no tomorrow*
you used TDKR's Triumphant score in the background... very well done Kwing. Very well done...
I loved all these movies so far this one the most
Yeah, me too! I don't know why people hate them!
Can I just say Blue Beetles Mohawk is so out of character
I like that you used TDKR soundtrack in the background. Nice touch.
/rant over
To be fair, I watched the Teen Titans show as a kid, and I actually started to enjoy it; especially the scenes of Slade and Robin. Interestingly, my favorite part was the arc with Terra, but I had no idea that it corresponded to the Judas Contract (or what that even was)
Probably could be decent movie, but I'll likely check out the next one if it's good.
When are you reviewing Teen Titans: The Judas Contract?
“The GOOD one......and its deformed cousin”😂😂😂😂😂😂
*sigh*
Agreed!
Seriously those type of games is easy. You don't need expertise people for it. If you have quick reaction time then you can easily play that game and I think the scene was in there to show that the Titans are not just about fighting and stuffs and that they can bond and do things that normal teenagers do
Though the one thing that turns me off is the Sailor Moon transformation.
damian is batmans kid,a man who mastered 127 martial arts in 10 years
boezou+ You must be a Marvel Fanboy calling Damien one dimensional, he had more growth throughout this film than say, DR. Strange did.
Tim Drake movie would be the abosolute best new DC movie and I would also love a Night wing movie
All I saw was "ship Raven and Damian ship Raven and Damian ship Raven and Damian ship Raven and Damian ship Raven and Damian" It was forced as hell
Says the cyborg and beastboy chemistry is perfect yet uses bastardization of the relationship known as teen titans go.
+Artimiss Barker No HD pic of Cy and Beastie from the old days. Show is too, well old...
lol
+kwingsletsplays
Actually, CN revamped some of the older episodes.
I really miss the YJ take on the Titans.
julia I know we need season three they handled every character so well and the voice actors MATCHED
When there's trouble you know who to call....
I love the way this guy edit his videos
Batman doesn't have superpowers but knows how to take you down Damien is a little Batman.and the Batman family like strong woman
I liked BeastBoy maybe because he's my favorite superhero of all time but I liked him in this movie
Literally the only thing I don't like is the side-lining of Nightwing, the COMPLETE ABSENCE of Tim and then there's the obvious Superman/Wonderwoman.
Other than that, solid 9/10 for me. I really enjoyed it and I'd recommend it to anyone. ^-^
I MISS TIMMY
I wanna see more movies with Damian as robin
Stopmotionwizard2001 Oneal don't you date day that
dare
Stopmotionwizard2001 Oneal me too,i wanna see more raven x Damian
Hell no! He's trash.
@@t-dawg5265No his not
I love damian x raven even after I m a marvel fan , I wish this ship would be in comics
GOD NO
Honestly thought this movie was shit.
(I hope they do)
Maybe Batgirl, too. If I remember correctly, they teased her at the end of Bad Blood.
I would also like Cyborg to get a new costume with more blue on it, and maybe some white :D
I am just here to say something for the people that are saying Raven is bigger than Damian:
She is 14, he is 14, I asked James Tucker on Twitter, have a good day
You had way too much fun when making this review. I think that's a good sign lol. Nice work, I enjoyed this movie enough.
This was a movie primed for some Tim Drake action. But screw Tim Drake I guess...again.
I am so glad I'm not the only one feeling Nightwing is underutilized
Okay thank you for the info.
My problem is that these vs movies only have one scene where the title characters only have one fight.
Quite liked this one, actually, my favourite of the New 52 Animated Movies. You know what I liked better, though? That Dark Knight Returns music in the background.
I think Justice League: Flashpoint is my favorite film of the series.
My favourite DC animated film is Batman: Under the Red Hood.
I don't think you can include that in the same series as these movies, can you?
1:00. Kwing's evil laugh. Great evil laugh man . God Bless.
+Jacqueline Petrola =D Thanks
I gotta admit, I actually liked this movie. There are problems, sure, but nothing huge. It didn't really piss me off in any way, which all the other New 52 movies have all managed to do in some way or another. And what's really cool is that, by adding Jaime, there's an opportunity to have a Teen Titans movie where they take on the Reach. Hell, here's an idea: Do that next, have Terra be a part of the team in that movie, and do the slow burn toward Judas Contract by having her developed as a character before doing the heel reveal.
5:31 I'd LOVE to see Rebirth films!
Awesome Review Dude! I just found your channel today and I gotta say keep up the good work!
Magical girl transformations huh, that's something new.
I really miss teen titans and would love if this movie took more inspiration tonally from it.
the movie was actually pretty cool, except for some parts when I didn't know if they were making a parody or trying to be creative, like magical girl Starfire and kamen rider blue beetle. still, I would love to have a riff track with your comments to rewatch the movie
love the SF match music thrown in. bravo!
I really liked Trigon and Raven however
Oh, and I also hate the Wonder Woman x Superman 😛
#ravenandbeastboyforever
